Tony F Posted 14 January, 2014 Share Posted 14 January, 2014 The title speaks for itself - according to BBC form chart Man City have won 9 of the last 10 matches (draw vs Saints being the exception) - ie taken 28 points out of 30. That is simply immense form - put it another way, they have taken 28 points in their last 10 games whilst we have gained 30 all season. The blue machine seems to be firmly in top gear!! Its somewhat pleasing that Saints are the only team to have casued a minor speed bump in their progress, though.
Saint Martini Posted 14 January, 2014 Share Posted 14 January, 2014 Not only did we take points off them we also did it with Gazzaniga in goal!
Raging Bull Posted 14 January, 2014 Share Posted 14 January, 2014 Indeed..... If the plumb had stuck out a leg we'd have won
BG_Saint Posted 14 January, 2014 Share Posted 14 January, 2014 It's a game, I feel, we could have won. We are a good team - and we played some of the best teams in the league recently (Arsenal, Chelsea x2, Man City), which made us look...not so good. Saint86 Posted 14 January, 2014 Share Posted 14 January, 2014 Sadly guys, outplaying and almost beating the oil rich city with half a team and youth players isn't enough to be excited about for our fans. They want us to win the league and the fa cup this season, and then the champions league next season. Its like they think we have absolutley no chance of qualifying for Europe this year and the teams above us won't drop any more points.
austsaint Posted 14 January, 2014 Share Posted 14 January, 2014 Not only did we take points off them we also did it with Gazzaniga in goal! Don't forget Jos at CB. It was a remarkable draw in the end.

Nah, he loves stats, and that is a good one. He may also say that Blackburn also drew with them though, so it's no biggie...

Blackburn may well have drawn with them, but they did not take points off them, as per the thread title.
trousers Posted 14 January, 2014 Share Posted 14 January, 2014 An indication as to how close we were to not having a bad run in December. Fine lines...
Cabrone Posted 14 January, 2014 Share Posted 14 January, 2014 Took a worldy fron Ossie but no mean feat to take a point from a club with the combined resource of an oil rich state. It's now between Citeh and Chelski for me (Arse will have a sticky patch at some stage). I think Citeh will blink first but we'll see.
