Halo Stickman Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 You too Halo! x What's been happening? Have I missed much? I wouldn't know where to start, bletch x
saintbletch Posted 2 May, 2014 Author Posted 2 May, 2014 I wouldn't know where to start, bletch x Start at the very beginning; a very good place to start. Paul Dickov. I'd rather not.
Halo Stickman Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 (edited) Start at the very beginning; a very good place to start. Paul Dickov. I'd rather not. In the beginning, in a strange faraway land, full of strange faraway people… Play with Wolfswinkel up front? No, I’d prefer somewhere more discreet. Edited 2 May, 2014 by Halo Stickman Cos Tim learnt me how to spell proper
buctootim Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 In the beginning, in a strange faraway land, full of strange faraway people… Play with Wolfswinkel up front? No, I’d prefer somewhere more discrete. Oh no. A humiliating school boy error confusing 'discrete' with 'discreet', and on the word thread too. I'm mortified for Halon
Halo Stickman Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 Oh no. A humiliating school boy error confusing 'discrete' with 'discreet', and on the word thread too. I'm mortified for Halon Hey Tim, it's Halo! Spellin was never my strong suite - hic, I mean sic
buctootim Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 (edited) Hey Tim, it's Halo! Spellin was never my strong suite - hic, I mean sic Its not a spelling error Haline, its more fundamental - the wrong choice of word. How can you live with yourself and the utter, utter shame? Edited 2 May, 2014 by buctootim
Halo Stickman Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 Its not a spelling error Haline, its more fundamental - the wrong choice of word. How can you live with yourself and the utter, utter shame? Oh sorry Tim, that went over my head – a bit like Premiership and Premier League. It’s a good job I’ve got you to sort me out. Cheers mate x PS I’ve spent most of my life living in utter utter shame, so I’m quite used to it by now.
buctootim Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 I’ve spent most of my life living in utter utter shame, so I’m quite used to it by now. I can relate to that. Im divorced now though.
Halo Stickman Posted 2 May, 2014 Posted 2 May, 2014 (edited) I can relate to that. Im divorced now though. Oh well, perhaps when Mrs Stickman packs her bags me and you should get together! BTW, Tim, were your wife’s final words to you: fucyootim? Edited 2 May, 2014 by Halo Stickman

KingdomCome Posted 27 October, 2014 Posted 27 October, 2014 There's a bit of a theme up here for naming children after islands. A friend of a friend was christened Iona (I own a). All was well until she married her husband and took his surname...Turtle. Made me smile anyway.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 27 October, 2014 Posted 27 October, 2014 This thread is almost as disappointing as 'the weekend riding thread' in general sports.

tpbury Posted 3 November, 2014 Posted 3 November, 2014 I'm sure I posted this before, but may have fallen asleep halfway, because the subject matter is so boring, don't know. There is an app called wordament which is a wordgame. One of the best players has a moniker of 'wearesaints76'. This player knows his words and has probably employed a cheat of some kind. So, keen on lexicography and technical and a saints fan. Who could it be?
