angelman Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 Leeds 0-1 SFC (Lambert). Actually more memorable for Kelvin's MotM display.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 Forte Mk dons lol. Rickie Milwall away, that was an Mk dons moment. After that comeback was convinced we would go up.
Saint-Armstrong Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 To chuck another one in... Rickie penalty against Millwall away.
SNSUN Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 Lallana's vs Burnley, if we go on to win the cup. :-)
Nigel=God-Poyet=Sod Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 Guly vs Bristol Rovers at St Marys was vital.
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 Guly vs Bristol Rovers at St Marys was vital. Ha, great minds!
View From The Top Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 3 spring to mind. Barnard against MK, Fonte against BHA and SRL against Millwall.
Wiggles31 Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 Lambert's penalty against Cardiff for the 1-1 which sparked us back into life for the rest of the season.
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 Leeds 0-1 SFC (Lambert). Actually more memorable for Kelvin's MotM display. Agree amazing performance.
doddisalegend Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 Papa Wagio against Norwich in the JPT dying seconds of the game.
Andre Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 Someone at the club needs to put together a DVD showing our rise from the ashes with goals such as these and commentary from players etc, would be a hell of a watch.
RonManager Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 Most have been covered but I'd like to add DC's goal at Oldham in 2009 which put us 3-1 ahead (his first for us?), secured the win and lifted us off the bottom of L1.
hypochondriac Posted 5 January, 2014 Posted 5 January, 2014 To chuck another one in... Rickie penalty against Millwall away. I was there! Brilliant.
John Boy Saint Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 (edited) Papa Wagio against Norwich in the JPT dying seconds of the game. Off his backside!! While Holt was whining about a blade of grass in a red and white shirt slicing off both his legs at the other end of the pitch. Edited 6 January, 2014 by John Boy Saint
John Boy Saint Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 Forte double vs MK Dons. This First touch pile of steaming whatsit second back of the net.
RonManager Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 Off his backside!! While Holt was whining about a blade of grass in a red and white shirt slicing off both his legs at the other end of the pitch. Look at the first comment
david in sweden Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 (Maybe not the most popular player just now) but Jos Hooiveld with 1 goal v.WHam (h) won 1-0 and 1 goal v.W Ham (a) 1-1 ensured we got 4 points off them and we secured automatic promotion and they had to face the play-offs.
pap Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 The MK Dons matches and Millwall ones have every right to stick out. That said, it was the 3rd goal against Coventry when I felt we were finally going up to Prem. I think I might have had a little cry at the time. Sorry, but we'd d!cked about for so much at the end of that season; should never have gone to the last day.
sussexsaint Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 Fonte, Brighton away 1-2 MASSIVE. Saw the title and thougt this instantly. Such an emotional moment
Cabrone Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 Lambert's at Leeds, pivotal result and the first time that I started to think we could do it (although it was Kelvin's night TBH). Connolly at BHA. Fonte gets the headlines but DC was the man that sparked us into life in that game. Six mins to go, sqeaky bums all round with Hudders hot on our tail, up pops DC to get the equaliser, now sniffing blood we go on to snatch a vital 3 points. Great memories under NA.

Six mins to go, sqeaky bums all round with Hudders hot on our tail, up pops DC to get the equaliser, now sniffing blood we go on to snatch a vital 3 points. Great memories under NA. Many to choose from, but I'll go with this. Still my greatest away-day memory. Brilliant weather, good beer and banter with over-confident Brighton fans before the game. Excited even to have a ticket - only 700 as I recall. Crap view, sunburned head, we let in a stupid goal, all seemed lost. Connolly and Fonte save it at the end, finishes Brighton's hopes of going unbeaten at home all season, critical to keeping in the promotion race. Never forget Jose's celebration! Left the ground on a massive high, more beer, can't remember the journey home.
Saint86 Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 Biggest 2 goals of the championship season were scored by big Jos vs west ham.... People who think that the lambert vs leeds goal was the biggest goal need their brains testing guys! Jos got us 4 points off west ham, not 4 points to west ham - thats an 8 point swing... no promotion...
Saint86 Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 (Maybe not the most popular player just now) but Jos Hooiveld with 1 goal v.WHam (h) won 1-0 and 1 goal v.W Ham (a) 1-1 ensured we got 4 points off them and we secured automatic promotion and they had to face the play-offs. This! Fonte's was crucial, but league 1 promotion is nothing compared to getting back into the premier league. It was funny that we stopped brightons unbeaten home record in their final season there though
saintquin Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 Lambert for Bristol Rovers against Saints at The Mem. May have been the goal that made Saints go and buy him!
paulwantsapint Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 Matt Paterson 1st goal of the Markus era
Appy Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 Lambert for Bristol Rovers against Saints at The Mem. May have been the goal that made Saints go and buy him! I doubt it was.

Gave the keeper (and most of us) the eyes before whipping it in the other side. Was an excellent chaotic terrace bundle as well.
Kenilworthy Posted 6 January, 2014 Posted 6 January, 2014 Last minute RL winner at Exeter to turnaround a game we had been losing, and a game that historically Saints would have lost.
