Andy Durman Posted 7 January, 2014 Posted 7 January, 2014 Amazing!!!! How good is he, we should sign him up?????
rooney Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 The music is almost as impressive as his goalkeeping.
farawaysaint Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 I'd feel alot more confident knowing this was in goal. I love that psycho
austsaint Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 I remember when his name was mud around here. Watching that clip reminds me of how good Boruc is, and how many on target shots he has snuffed out.
farawaysaint Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 Watching that clip reminds me of how good Boruc is, and how many on target shots he has snuffed out. Highest % in the league this year.
BG_Saint Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 I remember when his name was mud around here. Been reading "The Secret Footballer" recently. One quote from the book that stuck with me is "the fans are clueless". Most really are...
Cabrone Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 The only downer about Boruc is he's not English - I'd rather him between the sticks in Brazil instead of Joe Hart. Much better keeper imo.
farawaysaint Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 The only downer about Boruc is he's not English - I'd rather him between the sticks in Brazil instead of Joe Hart. Much better keeper imo. Can you imagine if he made that Arsenal error in the WC? The press would destroy him.
Window Cleaner Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 Can you imagine if he made that Arsenal error in the WC? The press would destroy him. Situation probably wouldn't arise in the WC, most French,Italian and Spanish refs would have penalised Giroud for the little shove,(he's a known expert at it) it's only UK refs that don't see that sort of thing or consider it as a bit of give and take. Canal's TV expert ref said he'd have blown up for the shove in the chest. English refs let everything go because they believe that it's up to them to apply the rules as they see them and not as the letter of the law. This is why there are so many reffing disputes nowadays, refs don't have any consistency whatsoever.

Dalek2003 Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 We desperately need three points in order to get an injection of confidence in the team. If we do, we could go on a mini run that will hopefully see us past that 40 point benchmark. A defeat and the alarm bells start.

Dalek2003 Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 Tedious troll. No it is not trolling ! In fact, your statement of my statement about being a troll is probably trolling.
Dalek2003 Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 Again, mods, why do you keep letting idiots like this deliberately try and ruin the forum? You can say ignore it, but it takes over so many threads just posting the exact same things trying to get a reaction. I give up.

Yep, we are half way through the season with 27 points, probably need another ten to twelve max, to be safe, a really perilous position to be in, I'm bricking it. Whitey Grandad Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 Has he just been told that he's doing us on Saturday?
Saint Fan CaM Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 This has got draw written all over it. 2-2 or WBA with a controversial last minute goal for 2-3 (the Webb effect).
shurlock Posted 8 January, 2014 Posted 8 January, 2014 Human? Howard Webb in narcissistic, celebrity ref shocker.

KK the 2nd Posted 9 January, 2014 Posted 9 January, 2014 Not worried about Webb in particular. I do think criticising refs when not appropriate could backfire though. WBA is a winnable game and I'm looking forward to it.
Saint Garrett Posted 9 January, 2014 Posted 9 January, 2014 Webb is a decent ref. Hope ill be saying the same come Saturday evening!
trousers Posted 9 January, 2014 Posted 9 January, 2014 Is it me or is it a tad quiet this with in official Saints twitter land this week? No snippets of training; No word on when today's press conference is taking place; etc. I guess the PR dept could be on a well earned few days break after the busy Christmas period and/or waiting for the Clattenburg 'furore' to die down...?

Window Cleaner Posted 9 January, 2014 Posted 9 January, 2014 (edited) I like the comment someone has added.. Ricky?! pity he's made an idiot of himself though. Bring and Buy, Brought and Bought, mistake that you'd never get in the days of scout's jumble sales, everyone knew the difference. But hey let's be generous and put it down to Tapatalk or T9 or whatever it is. You need to get out there and start teaching English to the ignorant masses Sue. Window Cleaner Posted 9 January, 2014 Posted 9 January, 2014 Still no appointment. One could still have a psychological impact, but it's too late now for them to actually do anything before the game so that's a bonus. They're obviously having difficulty in finding a suitable candidate and then making their club attractive to him. Downing will probably get the job in the end and in that case they could have spared themselves the expense of sacking Clarke in the first place.

trousers Posted 9 January, 2014 Posted 9 January, 2014 I wonder when Trousers does any work!:-) That's the trouble with these pesky zero hour contracts...
Window Cleaner Posted 9 January, 2014 Posted 9 January, 2014 That's the trouble with these pesky zero hour contracts... Ah yes the UK's latest invention, a job that's not a job but could be a job, why would anyone accept terms like that really. Just be a tenured academic, a job that's not a job but you get paid anyway.
suewhistle Posted 9 January, 2014 Posted 9 January, 2014 I thought it amusing how they both laughed spontaneously when asked about Italian press reports re Osvaldo or MP wanting to move etc: "there's a new one every minute and they contradict themselves every hour."
Saint 76er Posted 9 January, 2014 Posted 9 January, 2014 Poch says no intention of signing any players in this window, in theory. However, 22 days to go and things may possibly change in that time. Make of that what you will ...
suewhistle Posted 9 January, 2014 Posted 9 January, 2014 That's the trouble with these pesky zero hour contracts... Ah yes, I applied for some "bank" teaching, for which they wanted "Strong personal commitment to the college". Made me and my neighbour laugh, at least.
