SuperSAINT Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 West Ham v WBA to start with would love west ham not winning. +1 Bats
Olallana Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 I want to see Mulumbu kick the ball at a West Ham player like last year
Window Cleaner Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 West Ham 1 up already, can't understand what West Brom's side is all about. Lugano is garbage and last season Yacob and Mulumbu was one of the League's nec plus ultra pairings along with Cork and Schneiderlin, why break it up and have one of them on the bench. Then there's the illusion caused by Lukaku, wherever he goes instantly looks a better side than they probably are.
Batman Posted 28 December, 2013 Author Posted 28 December, 2013 1-1 anelka been coming really. WBA been pretty good up till the final 3rd
Olallana Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 West Ham passing so far, really dont like the middle of the pitch, do they....?
Batman Posted 28 December, 2013 Author Posted 28 December, 2013 (edited) 1-2 anelka scored again LOL at west ham on another note, wasnt it reported that jarvis was not interested in coming to saints last season as he did not want to go back to the championship........good luck with that one fat sam has gone through some striker since being at west ham. since being in the prem.... Sign Maiga for £5m Sign Chamakh and (reportedly) pay £40k a week for 3 appearances Use 75% of the summer transfer budget to sign an injured AC Release CC, then re-sign once he'd had a chance to become unfit Sign and release Petric in less than 6 months That's some record throw in... carew vaz te baldock and that fella from brizzle city we apparently were after... jesus Edited 28 December, 2013 by Batman
Window Cleaner Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 1-2 throw in... carew vaz te baldock and that fella from brizzle city we apparently were after... jesus Maynard I think you mean, don't think we were ever after him, some just thought we should be that's all. Anyway Sam's system is destructive to strikers so he needs a lot of them, especially as most of them aren't very good.

Saint_clark Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 What happened to the striker from Brazil he brought in on loan last year? Made 0 appearances and went home. Paulista said about his move "I think I can do my best here and I am coming to England to prove to everyone that I am one of the best strikers in Brazil and to get better and better".Paulista was a named substitute for two games for West Ham, against Southampton and Reading, but left the club without having made a first team appearance.
Olallana Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 But I guess we shouldn´t sit here and gloat about West Ham. They´re in the league cup semis so they are having a great season....
Glasgow_Saint Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 But I guess we shouldn´t sit here and gloat about West Ham. They´re in the league cup semis so they are having a great season.... If they win the league cup and finish 8th-17th yes they are
Window Cleaner Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 But I guess we shouldn´t sit here and gloat about West Ham. They´re in the league cup semis so they are having a great season.... and yet seemingly threatened with relegation which may or may not confirm itself. Unless you have a 300 million quid squad it's cup or risk non survival but not both.
Batman Posted 28 December, 2013 Author Posted 28 December, 2013 If they win the league cup and finish 8th-17th yes they are they have man city in the semi final. they will be going out and out with a bang IMO 2-2, maiga. Ben foster ballsed it up
Olallana Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 Ben Foster the alternative to Joe Hart for England??
Window Cleaner Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 they have man city in the semi final. they will be going out and out with a bang IMO 2-2, maiga. Ben foster ballsed it up depends where that is in the calendar with reference to City's CL games. The CL will be a priority for city this season as will winning the title again, they may sacrifice the C1C if the fixtures don't fall well.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 they have man city in the semi final. they will be going out and out with a bang IMO 2-2, maiga. Ben foster ballsed it up Won away at Spurs twice. Man city will have focus on champions league and premiership so who knows
Batman Posted 28 December, 2013 Author Posted 28 December, 2013 Won away at Spurs twice. Man city will have focus on champions league and premiership so who knows CL is a month after the 2nd leg. 3-3 berahino cracking goal
Olallana Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 There is a month of time between the second leg of C1C semis and first leg of CL games. Beaten to it....
Olallana Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 At least Allardyce gives you clean sheets is a common sentence from his fans...
Saint Garrett Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 At least Allardyce gives you clean sheets is a common sentence from his fans... Tbf they don't have any CB's!! West Brom should win this if they can get berahino and Anelka away.
Window Cleaner Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 At least Allardyce gives you clean sheets is a common sentence from his fans... when they had a defence perhaps. Since Reid has been out they must be conceding about 3 a game.
Batman Posted 28 December, 2013 Author Posted 28 December, 2013 oooh. berahino with a lovely free kick...hits the post.
Colinjb Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 Didn't have high hopes for WH v WBA, but what a match!!
Batman Posted 28 December, 2013 Author Posted 28 December, 2013 west ham players look utterly knackered guess chasing arsenal around the park the other day has taken its toll West Ham to go down?
Window Cleaner Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 west ham players look utterly knackered guess chasing arsenal around the park the other day has taken its toll West Ham to go down? well 2 should be in theory mid-table teams bludgeoning each other and picking up shedloads of yellow cards can only help other poor teams to survive. They'll probably get a point each and that won't do either of them much good.
Batman Posted 28 December, 2013 Author Posted 28 December, 2013 full time 3-3 a sunderland win will put west ham bottom hope so
Glasgow_Saint Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 West Ham to go down? They have alot of injuries right now.... 6-8 1st team players down at one time (& we think we have it bad!!) J Tomkins J Collins R Morrison S Downing M Petriæ W Reid R Vaz Tez A Carroll
markr27 Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 Very surprised that Mike Dean allowed the second WBA goal to stand really. After all, it came from a corner that he should not have awarded...
Saint_clark Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 They have alot of injuries right now.... 6-8 1st team players down at one time (& we think we have it bad!!) J Tomkins J Collins R Morrison S Downing M Petriæ W Reid R Vaz Tez A Carroll He's not at the club anymore?
rshephard3 Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 They have alot of injuries right now.... 6-8 1st team players down at one time (& we think we have it bad!!) J Tomkins J Collins R Morrison S Downing M Petriæ W Reid R Vaz Tez A Carroll To be honest, at the current point in those lads careers, if having those players unavailable means you can't win a game then you're relegation fodder. They have a squad that is no better than bottom 5. They also have a manager who uses most other teams plan B as his plan A as far as long balls are concerned. Their chairmen have allowed a once proud youth system to continue to deteriorate in the persuit of short term hoof ball premiership survival windfalls. In conclusion, I'd love them to go down.

J Tomkins J Collins R Morrison S Downing M Petriæ W Reid R Vaz Tez A Carroll I think Morrison was suspended and they've let Petric go, that's their fault, nothing to do with an injury crisis. Nolan getting sent off and suspended for 3 games certainly didn't help them either. That's his problem, he never goes a season without at least one straight red, that means he misses important games just because he can't control his emotions. 5 yellows, you can accept because 19 games not to get them is difficult to handle in some positions and most teams get at couple of suspensions, evens out, but a straight red every season is just a sign of wanton behaviour that's never corrected.

And they've only got themselves to blame for not doing their due diligence on Carroll given his medical history.
Saint Garrett Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 He's not at the club anymore? Pretty sure he is?
Window Cleaner Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 (edited) Been watching Norwich-Utd, Norwich looking very enterprising but just can't put any of the chances they're creating away and I wouldn't be surprised if Utd don't hit them on the break in the 2nd half and win 1-0, or get an iffy penalty. igsey Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 Fulham getting torn apart by Hull, 3-0 to the Tigers now. Brilliant!
Olallana Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 Which one out of West Ham, West Brom, Norwich or Fulham will go down? Pretty certain at least one of those will....
Dr Who? Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 Norwich will go, I think. Also Man City, just put 2-0 on 20/1
John Boy Saint Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 Scarecrow Huddlestone gets a haircut after scoring at last for Hull 4-0
Colinjb Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 Palace camping out in the Man City half is becoming quite entertaining. Punch causing a fair few problems.
Dr Who? Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 Also I was hoping Cambridge would return to the football league, but Luton are blowing everyone away! So looks like they will be returning.
Ohio Saint Posted 28 December, 2013 Posted 28 December, 2013 At least Allardyce gives you clean sheets is a common sentence from his fans... That is the phantom turd phenomenon. It slips past the bend before you get to admire it, and it leaves no trace on the toilet paper.
