“It’s been a tough moment at this time because some of our players are having some personal problems that perhaps haven’t been talked about, and overall we are having a tough moment with illnesses and injuries."

Which player/s was Poch talking about?

Well that's not very sporting, how can we talk abut them if we don't know what they are...what a tease:smug:

I suppose we could make something up, few wouldn't mind that.

He has to be referring to Lambert. There's definitely something not right with him. He's just not the player he was a couple of months ago, and the player he has been the whole time he has been with us. Even his goal against Spurs didn't seem to mean much to him.

hmmmmm. Now I am operating on unfounded rumour logic. It is difficult to compute, but makes my day more interesting!

I should be very careful about treating this story too humorously. For all we know one of our players might have a terminally ill loved one, or in be middle of a messy divorce for instance.

So please don't be posting something crass now that may end up making you look like a utter sh1t in a few weeks time.

Seen this mentioned on a few different threads but I don't see why he needed to celebrate it really as like most of us he was probably ****ed off that we threw away a lead so softly, and that his goal merely made it 2-2 because Jos and Gazza screwed up again. Maybe he had no faith his goal would count for much given our defence at the moment.

Think people are looking for something that isn't there.

Anyone else think it was weird that Lallana and Lambert barely celebrated their goals on Sunday?

And that Jos didn't look that fussed when he banged in his own goal?

Strange.

Defo Ricky who was head down every time he went down the tunnel on Sunday and we were all talking about it at the time, not at all like him. Best not to speculate about private lives but new contract could be an issue or the lack of one?

Players are human and susceptible to all life throws at them. We just had a bad day v Spurs, for whatever the reasons, and there was nothing on the bench to change the situation. The top teams have an immense squad of talent, we don`t. Yet :)

I know for a fact that Jos recently had a vagina implanted. That would explain scoring in his own goal?

Was it implanted in his face ? Might explain sudden appearance of the hair around that region.

What is mopo playing at!?

Coz he's named said individual, gone into gory detail presumably against their wishes, leaving them out to dry.

Nobody battered an eyelid when it was disclosed that Punch was having off the field problems.

Try harder you clown.

Maybe they were all told before the game that Luke played his last game for the club last week and that Fox will be our LB until the summer ?

Or a few of them have been told they can leave in Jan and should look for a new club due to new players coming in ?

Just putting it out there.

Agreed - and there's no point speculating either.

I wish all the best for the player(s) involved and that whatever their issues are can be resolved soon.

What was disclosed about Puncheon's off-field problems? Point being, there really is nothing to be gained by MP bringing this up at all.

If this is a real case, you need look no further than the fact that the Lamberts have a new-born in the house, and if Rickie has his turn at getting up at 3 AM to take care of the baby, it would explain a lot.

There's an intersting storyline in MLTs UNBELIEVABLE video where he talks about just such a problem.

If an " ordinary guy " goes to work tired out because of the new baby syndrome, then his workmates have a lot of sympathy for him.....if a footballer (in a similar situation) doesn't put in a good performance every game, the fans are complaining about him before he's out of the shower.
