Isn't Gazza from Santa Fé ?

According to the OS, Murphy is a town on the outskirts of Santa Fe. So you are correctish. I know this should not worry me...........but. ;)

Paulo was born in January 1992 in the small Argentinian town of Murphy, on the outskirts of Santa Fe.

I think you should, simply for the benefit of those of us who have to work later and are running on empty.

Oh great.

[h=2]MATCH FACTS[/h] Head-to-head

  • Cardiff have won their last seven home matches with Southampton, each by a one-goal margin.
  • The away side has not won this fixture in the last 17 league attempts since Southampton's 5-3 win at Ninian Park on 27 December 1965.

Soccerguy whingeing on Twitter about taking a pasting in the full article lol

Southampton quartet Kelvin Davis, Luke Shaw, Nathaniel Clyne and Dani Osvaldo could all be fit to play.

Jose Fonte and Maya Yoshida may feature after minor injuries, but Artur Boruc and Victor Wanyama are out.

dunno how accurate

You can watch the pre-match press conference on Saints Player where Pochettino said all of this.

Davis may be average at best, but he's a lot calmer than Gazza and less prone to error. It's a weakness rather than a liability.

This. Gazzaniga really shouldn't be anywhere near a team in the top couple of league. He actually doesn't seem to have a grasp on goalkeeping. He doesn't know how or when to leave his line, how to read the game, how to organise men in front of him. KD may be prone to a howler, but at least the men in front of him know what he's going to do.

With any luck:

Davis

Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw

Cork Morgan

Lallana Davis Rodriguez

Lambert

That would have a great chance of a well needed 3 points. Looking forward to getting up there.

Matthew Le God;1839612]How will that have any bearing on today's game?

Well obviously it doesn't but there is the old horses for courses saying. Man United always win at Villa for example, West Ham don't win at Anfield, Spurs went over 70 years not winnig there, we dont have a great record playing the Welsh teams away and so on.

Hopefully we will put that right today....

Even with our first choice defence of Shaw' date=' Lovren, Fonte, Clyne we'll struggle with Gazza in goal. Never thought I'd say it in the Premier League but let's hope Davis is fit![/quote']

Agreed, he will bring a great deal more calmness to our defence then Gazzaniga.

I don't think Lambert will have a fruitful afternoon if he's alone up top against Caulker. He and Medel tend to keep those types very quiet - I'd be tempted to give Rodriguez a similar role to the second half at Newcastle.

They've corrected the teamsheet to include Kelvin on the bench ahead of Cropper.

Cardiff: Marshall, Taylor, Caulker ©, Turner, Theophile-Catherine; Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Mutch, Noone; Odemwingie, Campbell

Subs: Lewis; Hudson, Cornelius, Kim, Cowie, Maynard, John

Didn't realise Medel's out, that's good news. Big money striker Cornelius back on the bench after injury
