Club don't really share the info, but estimate that Boruc should be back by the end of the month all being well. no idea on Clyne, think it was a thigh injury which could mean quite a few weeks.

Would imagine Fonte and Shaw will be back in for Boxing day, however Victor is probably our most long-term, wouldn't expect him back before mid-feb.

Osvaldo isn't injured, just suspended until the new year for being a moron.

Shaw will be in contention for Thursday, according to his Twitter. He was fine for today but club were being cautious.

Boruc and Clyne both trained this week

Fonte was tactical

Osvaldo will be having a meeting in a darkened room with Don Cortese where he'll be made an offer he can't refuse

Return dates roughly please for!

Boruc

Clyne

Fonte

Shaw

Big Vic

Osvaldo

Need cheering up!

Shaw is not injured. Had a minor throat infection, could have played today according to his tweet

Fonte is clearly not injured, but not 100% so not being risked to start, I bet he plays next game

Clyne was considered for today, will probably be back for Cardiff.

Boruc, VW don't know, but we need Boruc back soon, even with one hand he would be better than Gazza

Osvaldo, injury won't matter when his ban is announced tomorrow. Shame because he could have done well today if he had been available.

Davis? Nothing seems to be said about him

Guly is nearing a return :-)

If Fonte was tactical i'd love to know the tactics.

It wasn't. The "Hooiveld starts because of big strikers" myth was created here because he just happened to start a game vs. Stoke where Yoshida had to play RB because of injury, and it stood.

Probay the least of our worries' date=' unless we are going to play him at left back.[/quote']

Chambers has done well but he's not in clynes league.

certainly not going forward or perhaps in positional anticpation either. Got skinned for their second goal, thought he'd done the hard work and then Cork failed to cut out a ball he either needed to clear or leave alone. As we're short everywhere just now I could actually see an argument for using both of them against Cardiff, Clyne at RB and Chambers at RM.

But is he training at saving shots etc as he's been training cardio wise for a while.

Do you wear keepers gloves for cardio training? Looks like he is not far off. Pictures don't show much evidence of a leg injury for Osvaldo. Lovren looks well. Clyne looks to be fully engaged. No sign of Guly though, even though he was training last week.

Can you tell the extent of a generic "leg injury" and the players health from looking at a picture?
