What absolute joke some of our 'fans' were today...

  • Getting on the players backs when they needed our support
  • Sarcastically cheering Gazza because he caught the ball
  • Speeding up songs (when they finally did bother) so that they died out in seconds

When will fans learn that getting on players backs actually makes them more nervous and causes more mistakes.

This kind of 'support' never happened in the football league.

Woeful today. When the team needed support in the second half we gave up.

And the bloke a few rows behind us in block 25 needs to wind it in. Constantly shouting abuse at our players, moaning about every little mistake and generally acting like an utter cretin. When a woman started trying to tell him to zip it he was on the verge of offering her out. Then he walked past with 2 little kids aged about 4 saying "I don't give a f#ck, it's football. I'll say what I f#cking want." A great example to set his kids, and all the others around him in the family stand.

From where I was sitting in the Itchen, the support from the North Stand was pretty good most of the time. Went a bit quiet in the second half, but it is difficult when the team are serving up that sort of defensive chaos.

Awful support today, couldn't get a song started in the Kingsland for love nor money. No surprise I barely recognised anyone there - plastic season is in full swing!

Since the Dell went its plastic season every season.

Not the worst, not the best from where I was in Kingsland North. But I was disappointed to hear people chanting Fonte's name when Hooiveld and Lovren were still on the pitch and desperately lacking in confidence. That doesn't do anyone any good

How would you know you troll? Gotta be there to comment on it . Please stop ruining this forum.

I'm a particular fan of people who rubbish the atmosphere when they don't go to games. It's like the ones who ring up phone ins to comment on games they haven't seen.

Too many people out on the lash last night I think, but it's no excuse...I'd much rather not drink too much and go to football in a decent mood/frame of mind.

I must admit my support was crap today because I was hungover

So only 32,000 dare comment upon the game, so much for Cortese vision of a World club, its more like a hick support there, we dont like strangers round here, get over it, my family go and gave been season ticket holders for years, before I left Southampton I had a season ticket and went to the away games, was I a better supporter then? I am at Everton next week, I hope you comment on it if you dont go ha ha.

this thread always appears when we lose' date=' funny thing is 25000 of the crowd are probably the same as when we win.[/quote']

No it doesn't. Usually it's a 'we didn't sing' today thread.

I'm talking about our 'fans' getting on the players backs, I've not seen that from our 'fans' for as long as I can remember. We usually get behind them and start singing if they make a costly mistakes.

Getting on the players backs does nothing but release your own personal frustration.

Many 'covert' Spurs fans in the Kingsland today.
