washsaint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 sometimes you simply have to applaud a great goal.......sure lots of you will blame Gazza/Jos/Fox but in reality very little anyone could do about that. We don't seem on top of our game today at all
washsaint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 canada - how the hell can you blame Gazza for that goal? Some of you lot make me want to weep!
Sheaf Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 From someone pleading for Gazza to be given time to develop, that was an utterly abysmal piece of goalkeeping. I have been just as critical of him as anyone recently, but seriously **** off mate. There was no way he could have stopped that it was like a rocket past him.
Bearsy Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 From someone pleading for Gazza to be given time to develop, that was an utterly abysmal piece of goalkeeping. Agree so scared of making mistake he won't leave his line
Dalek2003 Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 sometimes you simply have to applaud a great goal.......sure lots of you will blame Gazza/Jos/Fox but in reality very little anyone could do about that. We don't seem on top of our game today at all We are short on confidence and have lost a commanding goalkeeper.
melmacian_saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 sometimes you simply have to applaud a great goal.......sure lots of you will blame Gazza/Jos/Fox but in reality very little anyone could do about that. We don't seem on top of our game today at all Keeper should've come, Hooiveld should be all over Adebayor. He is out of the area when it all begins, Lovren goes out wide, he has an obligation to defend the fellow striker.
Stepgar Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 sometimes you simply have to applaud a great goal.......sure lots of you will blame Gazza/Jos/Fox but in reality very little anyone could do about that. We don't seem on top of our game today at all What a load of tosh! That was keepers ball ALLDAY LONG.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Dembele is bossing the midfield.... Thats a worry
DT Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Gazza, Fox and Hoiveld at fault for the goal. Our trio of cacka
Sheaf Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Can I just remind all these morons who seem to have completely forgotten.... GAZZANIGA IS OUR THIRD CHOICE KEEPER FFS!!!!!! If you think you could do better then why don't you call Nicola and volunteer your services.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 What a load of tosh! That was keepers ball ALLDAY LONG.
Dalek2003 Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Tottenham with tails up. Pity the JayRod chance didn't go in.
Viking Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Can't blame Gazza for kit keeping out a volley from 5 yards...far more to the point, wtf were Hooiveld and Fox doing ball watching and putting no pressure on Adebayor whatsoever....embarrassing defending...up till this, there's only been one are on the pitch....
Saints boy in Leeds Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Both Jos and Fox static, waiting for the ball rather than attacking it, poor.
CanadaSaint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 I have been just as critical of him as anyone recently, but seriously **** off mate. There was no way he could have stopped that it was like a rocket past him. I'm talking about being rooted to his line for a cross that came from a long way out. Your inability to understand that - and your "*** off mate" comment - says everything.
Dalek2003 Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 We are looking very nervous in defence, think we have to score lots today if we want to win as we will ship goals.
Barry Sanchez Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 sometimes you simply have to applaud a great goal.......sure lots of you will blame Gazza/Jos/Fox but in reality very little anyone could do about that. We don't seem on top of our game today at all Hooiveld should have either been closer OR Fox goal side, why does Fox always slam his hands in frustration when he is part of the problem , he never was nor ever will be a back up premiership defender and neither will be Hooiveld, you have to blame the manager for picking them.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Spurs on top.... What has happened to us. Why cant mopo see we need a few signings?
Dalek2003 Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Hooiveld should have either been closer OR Fox goal side, why does Fox always slam his hands in frustration when he is part of the problem , he never was nor ever will be a back up premiership defender and neither will be Hooiveld, you have to blame the manager for picking them. But he had no choice. Squad very thin.
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Hooiveld should have either been closer OR Fox goal side, why does Fox always slam his hands in frustration when he is part of the problem , he never was nor ever will be a back up premiership defender and neither will be Hooiveld, you have to blame the manager for picking them. Not got any choice though? Who would you play instead?
Dalek2003 Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 We might get lucky today, but we have definitely lost the initiative.
JoeShmoe Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Lambert isnt in this game at all, JayRod has gone up top, wonder if JWP comes on second half,
Dalek2003 Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Lambert isnt in this game at all, JayRod has gone up top, wonder if JWP comes on second half, Good call.
Barry Sanchez Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Not got any choice though? Who would you play instead? Yoshida at left back, at the start of the season we could have replaced him? We did not, poor when he has always been a poor defender.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Lambert isnt in this game at all, JayRod has gone up top, wonder if JWP comes on second half, Lambert is needing to drop to halfway to get a sniff of the ball. We dont play forward quick enough and the final 3rd play has been woeful once again so far
Sheaf Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Not got any choice though? Who would you play instead? Does he though? Fonte has been fit enough for the bench for the last two games, so why isn't he on the pitch?
DT Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Fox in another completely **** pass to them, there
CanadaSaint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Lambert isnt in this game at all, JayRod has gone up top, wonder if JWP comes on second half, Lambert's doing a lot of ball-watching - waiting for it to come to him rather than attacking it. We seriously need him to get in the game.
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Lambert is needing to drop to halfway to get a sniff of the ball. We dont play forward quick enough and the final 3rd play has been woeful once again so far Which has been the problem that Osvaldo has had as well this season...
Sheaf Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Lambert isnt in this game at all, JayRod has gone up top, wonder if JWP comes on second half, In all fairness, I'm struggling to remember the last time he did make a significant contribution to a match.
saintsmike25 Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Think we need a bit more creativity and guile - Osvaldo can provide that in the second half
Glasgow_Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Yoshida at left back, at the start of the season we could have replaced him? We did not, poor when he has always been a poor defender. Shaw is fit.... Mopo has "rested" him
skintsaint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Lets make it to halftime without conceding, and hoping MP can change it a bit like the Newcastle game to get back into it.
Dalek2003 Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Think we need a bit more creativity and guile - Osvaldo can provide that in the second half Is he on the bench ?
DT Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Shaw is fit.... Mopo has "rested" him Thought he was ill?
Glasgow_Saint Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 Is he on the bench ? Nope Dropped / injured unknown
