Liverpool vs. Cardiff (1245)

Palace vs. Newcastle

Fulham vs. Man City

Man Utd vs. West Ham

Stoke vs. Aston Villa

Sunderland vs. Norwich

West Brom vs. Hull

A couple of clubs in there can do us a favour. Palace definitely if they can take some points off Newcastle. West Ham if they can pull off another upset at Old Trafford will be helpful.

Just watching SS at the moment, the trouble at Cardiff should play in to our hands for the Boxing Day fixture. I think they'll get smashed today.

I would rather the teams at the lower end keep losing. We need to keep a good gap between us and bottom 5 or 6.

West Ham are a shambles, Allardyce for the chop soon I think.

It depends on what their board want. If they aren't too bothered about attractive football or getting into Europe then they might as well keep him. I think he has enough experience to keep them in the Premier League but last season's 10th really is about as far as he can take them. He will keep them up without spending large amounts of money, maybe the Wham board are happy with that.

they won't stay in the premier league playing like they are today, incapable of keeping the ball for 5 seconds at a time. Nothing in midfield, nothing in attack and not much at the back. Utd could be 8 or 9 up but they aren't playing all that well either.

With Newcastle and Utd winning we could do with a win tomorrow to stay in touch with the top 7. A defeat would leave us 6 points of 7th place and possible European football, with the small matter of Man Utd above us in 8th.

True but I think the current bottom 3 are worse and things have the potential to go pear shaped at Palace and West Brom.

To think West Ham and WBA finished above us last year, it's amazing how much can change over a summer break.

Bristol Rovers 1-0 Portsmouth.

Portsmouth now 19th, 3 points off the relegation zone

Now just 1 point off the relegation zone. If Michael Poke can keep a clean sheet for Torquay, Skates will really be in the ****.

There's a few decent managers available now so Adkins will indeed do well to last much longer, could be gone next week if McKay is available, then again he might go to West Brom.

Full time in League 2. Pompey 2 points above the drop zone with a poor GD.

Excellent, it would be lovely to see them drop out of the football league. Stumbled across a sports report on Radio Solent the other day and with idiotic reporting you'd have thought they were in the same league as Saints. All being well they will be in the same league as Aldershot next season, and we can forget about them for a generation...

well with the sh*te team that they have there's not much of a surprise element there really. They need to jack in their delusions and start again in the Hampshire League or something.
