Saintru Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 For predicting we will lose 1 nil to Spurs. If this is his prediction then the guy cannot be trusted to make sound decisions as PM. There is a correlation between footie predictions and sound decision making in life.
Matthew Le God Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 Mark Lawrenson and Paul Merson think we'll win. Should they be PM?
The Kraken Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 Mark Lawrenson and Paul Merson think we'll win. Should they be PM? You can't have two PMs at the same time.
Saintru Posted 20 December, 2013 Author Posted 20 December, 2013 Don't ruin my thread by picking holes in my argument!
dubai_phil Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 Who has the PM's? I just checked, the last one I had was some Bear Porn from Tokyo Saint. What have I missed out on this time?
Matthew Le God Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 You can't have two PMs at the same time. Lawrenson thinks he is Irish, he can be the Irish PM and Merson the British PM.
pingwing Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 He's a skate, we knew this years ago back in the champ when he made a speech about the plight of Pompey and how more should be done to prevent clubs going busy for local communities. My letter to my local mp highlighting a raft of clubs going under with no gov help wasn't well received...
Whitey Grandad Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 Out of interest, who has Milliband favoured?
Matthew Le God Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 Score draw, he likes to sit on the fence. Which can be painful if it is a picket fence.
The Kraken Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 Lawrenson thinks he is Irish, he can be the Irish PM and Merson the British PM. Firstly, the Irish have a Taoiseach as opposed to a PM. Secondly, Lawrenson was born in Lancashire and is therefore eligible to be the PM. Thirdly, the Prime Minister is the PM of the UK (Great Britain and NI), not just Great Britain. Pedantry. Any idiot can do it.
Matthew Le God Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 (edited) Firstly, the Irish have a Taoiseach as opposed to a PM. A Taoiseach is effectively a Prime Minister. Constitution of Ireland says... :"The head of the Government, or Prime Minister, shall be called, and is in this Constitution referred to as, the Taoiseach." Secondly, Lawrenson was born in Lancashire and is therefore eligible to be the PM. Unlike the US and needing to be born in the US to be president, no equivalent rule applies to be PM of the UK. Thirdly, the Prime Minister is the PM of the UK (Great Britain and NI), not just Great Britain. Quite common for it to be referred to as British PM even if not entirely correct. Today's Irish TImes for example... http://www.irishtimes.com/news/politics/taoiseach-and-british-prime-minister-pay-respects-to-war-dead-in-flanders-1.1633597 Pedantry. Any idiot can do it. Seemingly not you though. Edited 20 December, 2013 by Matthew Le God

The Kraken Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 Quite common for it to be referred to as British PM even if not entirely correct. Quite common, but quite commonly wrong. Rather like your good self
The Kraken Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 I'm only joshing MLG, I enjoy your wholly unnecessary pedantry really. Not as much as I enjoy it when you're wrong, though. But enjoyable nonetheless.
The Kraken Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 He's got you on ignore. Just like suewhistle, I don't think he's ever mentioned it before.
Turkish Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 He's got you on ignore. Just like suewhistle, I don't think he's ever mentioned it before. Do they?
Turkish Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 I've got you on ignore too. I've put myself on ignore as I realised its people like me that are ruining the forum. If I can't read my own posts then hopefully the forum will go back to being amazing again.
CB Fry Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 Can someone quote what Turkish and Kraken are saying please.

Where are the mods? It's about time the acted against this constant ruining of threads.

Pugwash Posted 20 December, 2013 Posted 20 December, 2013 This is the same 'Dave' who was "on Team Nigella". Look how that turned out.

There is a correlation between footie predictions and sound decision making in life. David Cameron has to die because he's a ****
dronskisaint Posted 21 December, 2013 Posted 21 December, 2013 Another subject the sneering fat-faced, over-privileged t*sser knows sweet fork-all about! (for the sake of clarity I refer to Cameron..not the usual hijackers here)
david in sweden Posted 21 December, 2013 Posted 21 December, 2013 Cameron thinks we will lose, eh ?...........did they have a vote on that in the House, or was he using his executive powers? ?
BlakeySFC Posted 22 December, 2013 Posted 22 December, 2013 (edited) Cameron was right… Edited 23 December, 2013 by BlakeySFC
