For predicting we will lose 1 nil to Spurs. If this is his prediction then the guy cannot be trusted to make sound decisions as PM. There is a correlation between footie predictions and sound decision making in life.

He's a skate, we knew this years ago back in the champ when he made a speech about the plight of Pompey and how more should be done to prevent clubs going busy for local communities.

My letter to my local mp highlighting a raft of clubs going under with no gov help wasn't well received...

Lawrenson thinks he is Irish, he can be the Irish PM and Merson the British PM.

Firstly, the Irish have a Taoiseach as opposed to a PM.

Secondly, Lawrenson was born in Lancashire and is therefore eligible to be the PM.

Thirdly, the Prime Minister is the PM of the UK (Great Britain and NI), not just Great Britain.

Pedantry. Any idiot can do it.

A Taoiseach is effectively a Prime Minister. Constitution of Ireland says... :"The head of the Government, or Prime Minister, shall be called, and is in this Constitution referred to as, the Taoiseach."

Unlike the US and needing to be born in the US to be president, no equivalent rule applies to be PM of the UK.

Quite common for it to be referred to as British PM even if not entirely correct.

Today's Irish TImes for example...

I've got you on ignore too.

I've put myself on ignore as I realised its people like me that are ruining the forum. If I can't read my own posts then hopefully the forum will go back to being amazing again.
