trousers Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 How do you post/paste pictures? I cant see anthing to do it. sorry, not the most exiciting thread topic. No idea mate, I've never tried it myself before.
SNSUN Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 Click the right mouse button over the picture, click on "copy URL", (or go into properties to find the URL) then on this site where you post messages, click on the little icon that looks like it has a tree on it, then paste the URL into that. Well that's how I do it anyway.

Noodles34 Posted 19 December, 2013 Author Posted 19 December, 2013 that didnt work, wtf is this little tree?
scotty Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 I usually save the picture by right-clicking, upload it to tinypic.com, then let them do the work. Lazy bastards, let 'em work for their money. This tip was given to me by Johnny Bognor, who never seems to post on here nowadays.
Window Cleaner Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 that didnt work, wtf is this little tree? run your mouse over the icons (start with the blue AA and keep going right, third from the end). When one says "insert image" click on it.
Matthew Le God Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 Do it like this...
Noodles34 Posted 19 December, 2013 Author Posted 19 December, 2013 run your mouse over the icons (start with the blue AA and keep going right, third from the end). When one says "insert image" click on it. not sure i am looking at the right icons? the list of smiley faces etc? Cant see a blue AA
Window Cleaner Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 (edited) not sure i am looking at the right icons? the list of smiley faces etc? Cant see a blue AA no, at the top of the place where you type your posts, red line with Quick Reply, under that there are some little icons, blue box with AA in it etc, then AA with a red x etc etc, the one you want is 3rd from the end Edited 19 December, 2013 by Window Cleaner
Saint Garrett Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 You just need to put To get the URL of the photo, you can right click on the picture, click on properties, and then the URL will be there.
Edmonton Saint Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 None of those things there are under the quick reply button I see?
trousers Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 (edited) None of those things there are under the quick reply button I see? Sounds like you've only got the 'basic editor' setting enabled. Go into 'settings' (top right hand corner of the screen), then 'general settings' (left hand side of screen, half way down) then 'miscellaneous options' (section toward the bottom) and select the "Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing" option, then 'save' settings (bottom right of screen) Edited 19 December, 2013 by trousers

Matthew Le God Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 ******!!!! You aren't giving a link to a webpage.
Noodles34 Posted 19 December, 2013 Author Posted 19 December, 2013 You aren't giving a link to a webpage. I am copying the url from the properties on the image? Then clicking on the tree thing (which i now have - thank you Trousers), but obviously falling short somewhere!
Matthew Le God Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 I am copying the url from the properties on the image? Link to the web site the image is on, describe which image it is you want and I'll show you how to do it.
Noodles34 Posted 19 December, 2013 Author Posted 19 December, 2013 FFS at least i have moved on to a kind of image! Just a red box with a cross in it, sure that has something to do with images. I walked to Everest once, it took a while cause I went the wrong way on the first day! BUT I GOT THERE!

Noodles34 Posted 19 December, 2013 Author Posted 19 December, 2013 post the URL then, in theory it will automatically parse and everyone can just click on it. understood, but doesnt really have the visually striking effect does it, you want to slap people right in the face with it, not offer a passageway to the unknown.
OldNick Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 I keep right clicking and dont get properties, just a list like, copy image location, save image as etc etc
Matthew Le God Posted 19 December, 2013 Posted 19 December, 2013 dont know if its legal? and i dont understand your questions.
