InvictaSaint Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Barry, Glasgow and Alpwhine in 5, 4, 3, 2.... Beat me to it!
vin Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 We give away an incredible amount of soft goals...
washsaint Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 why have you morons got it in for Gazza? What exactly was he meant to do there? Awful defending by Hoovield that cost us......we have no cutting edge going forward and Lambert looks lost.
Mr X Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 def hooiveld mistake but most keepers would have blocked that! lame attempt at a save!
MAY-Z Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Why on earth does MP keep dropping Fonte? Cost us win against villa by playing Yoshida and now has put us behind by picking Jos
Saint Without a Halo Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 to be fair Lambert missed the initial header too
Batman Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 No way can you portion ANY blame on Gazza. Wish people would stop looking for reasons to blame him he has been horrendous to be fair. gifted them a sitter earlier
ericofarabia Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 69% possession and a weak shot from JWP is all we have to show for it.
Sheaf Saint Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 If Fonte is fit enough to be on the bench then he is fit enough to be on the pitch. Get him on Mauricio.
Batman Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Why on earth does MP keep dropping Fonte? Cost us win against villa by playing Yoshida and now has put us behind by picking Jos he has not been fully fit lately
Saint-Reece Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Neither Yoshida or Hooiveld are sufficient for cover, shocking.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 All down to Jos..how Gazzaniga gets some blame..??? no mention of rickie getting beaten in the air
Batman Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 All down to Jos..how Gazzaniga gets some blame..??? no mention of rickie getting beaten in the air getting beaten in the air was nothing compared to a free hit to clear it...
The Kraken Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 he has not been fully fit lately Shouldn't be on the bench if he isn't fit IMO. Especially as Yoshida is available.
ericb Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Alongside a keeper we need another CB in jan', Jos just doesn't seem good enough to me.
ericofarabia Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Gazza could easily have been left stranded again if that had been a better header.
Batman Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Shouldn't be on the bench if he isn't fit IMO. Especially as Yoshida is available. why not. might be good for full on 30 mins if requried??
JoeShmoe Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 This formation isnt working, players arent used to it and i dont think Lambert and Osvaldo can play together as neither are mobile enough were getting battered here
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 getting beaten in the air was nothing compared to a free hit to clear it... But if it was Jos it would have been
Mr X Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Gazza isnt premiership quality but it isn't his fault and theres plenty of effort there!
Batman Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 But if it was Jos it would heave been it is what it is. a horrendous attempt at a free hit/clearance
ericofarabia Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Superb Newcastle move Gazza makes a good block
dubai_phil Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Well played Gazza Why did their striker get all the way through the defence?
Golac's Iron Gonads Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Gazzaniga out quickly, snuffs out another attack,
The Kraken Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 why not. might be good for full on 30 mins if requried?? Just an opinion I have; if you're an injury doubt and not fit enough to start, you shouldn't be on the bench. Especially so for a centre back, and there is another CB on the bench with you. CBs are on the bench largely for defensive cover, not to shake things up or change formation. If he's not fit to start he should sit out IMO (although admittedly that is rather a black and white approach).
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 it is what it is. a horrendous attempt at a free hit/clearance No despute but i am just saying if Jos was beaten in the air..people would be all over it
Pastor Patrón Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 It'll be a moronic decision if he sticks with not strengthening in January. Our first team is top 6 quality but we'll be bottom half if we keep picking up injuries, our back up players are horrific.
ericofarabia Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Corner ... come on Jos payback time!! Poor delivery easily cleared
Saint Without a Halo Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Billy Sharpe scores for Reading at Huddersfield
CanadaSaint Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 We have enough on the bench to make this a game of two very different halves. We have too many water carriers in midfield and nowhere near enough creativity.
DuncanRG Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Newcastle are playing very well here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Saint-Armstrong Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Who is wearing the #7 and what has he done with Rickie Lambert? Really poor in recent weeks. Slow, ponderous and wasteful. Sub him please...
ericofarabia Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Better defending from Jos - row Z ... no faffing around in the box!!
Pastor Patrón Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Who is wearing the #7 and what has he done with Rickie Lambert? Really poor in recent weeks. Slow, ponderous and wasteful. Sub him please... I'd sell him in January, srs. He's a complete waste of time for us now.
saint lard Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Still feel we can win this, especially with the creativity on the bench, all is not lost......yet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Batman Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 shaw, cork doing well osvaldo absolutely no service. lambert not so good
JoeShmoe Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Who is wearing the #7 and what has he done with Rickie Lambert? Really poor in recent weeks. Slow, ponderous and wasteful. Sub him please... Agree, he's been woeful
Ohio Saint Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Who is wearing the #7 and what has he done with Rickie Lambert? Really poor in recent weeks. Slow, ponderous and wasteful. Sub him please... Thanks! That should get us a goal from Lambert then! )

Completely correct - he could be required from any point in the game if an early injury occurs
Batman Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 we are missing Wanyama big time they are going right through us
dubai_phil Posted 14 December, 2013 Posted 14 December, 2013 Time to sneak out onto the micro balcony for an emergency smoke
