and many of us (including me) completely scoffed when cortese said this is what he wants. pretty much happened yesterday as we went toe to toe with a club that has had almost a billion spent on it

If we're going to count Brits as opposed to English we could add Steven Davis. Not forgetting Sam Gallagher was on the bench. Think that makes 10 Brits in our matchday squad.

I was scoffed at for saying it could.

 

Though to be fair, I said it might not and probably wouldn't happen for a few years.

 

Of all the things I'm enjoying at the moment - it is this part I love the most. The production line seems like an endless conveyor belt of talent at the moment.

 

If only a few other clubs took the same approach - England would be a much stronger force on the world stage, well imo of course.
