Saint-Armstrong Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Pompey defender Sonny Bradley has wound the Skates up by posting photos of himself with Adam Lallana in a bar last night on Twitter and Instagram.
Lallana's Left Peg Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 I can see why they'd get wound up to be fair. Although quite funny to see one of their better players completely disrespect their fans
Dalek2003 Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 You cant blame the ***** to be honest. He is only expressing his admiration for our international premier ship players. Lallana is living the dream that he himself wants. I expect a lot of the ***** secretly want to be where the Saints are, but cannot bring themselves to admit it.
Olallana Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Cant blame the guy for wanting to spend a bit of time with football players, not like he has that opportunity every day...
cellone Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Superb reaction from the skates, absolute class!
Badger Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Pompey defender Sonny Bradley has wound the Skates up by posting photos of himself with Adam Lallana in a bar last night on Twitter and Instagram. What a bunch of retards !
Badger Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Thought skates would now be more concerned about their newest, and closest league rivals, Salisbury City, than us now.
SuperMikey Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 F*cking brilliant. Can't blame the Skate for wanting to get his photo done with a top class, international footballer. Don't get many (for many, read: any) of them around Fartton anymore!
norwaysaint Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 How odd, we're seeing exactly the same thing here, one of our players cosying up with a skate, yet no saints fans seem at all bothered by it. Why has it upset them and not us?
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Maybe I'm wrong, but even if it was the other way around - I really don't think I'd be that bothered. Rivalries are always bigger for fans than players. End of the day, it's 2 professionals showing some mutual respect. There are people in my industry that work for rival companies who I would love to meet.
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 How odd, we're seeing exactly the same thing here, one of our players cosying up with a skate, yet no saints fans seem at all bothered by it. Why has it upset them and not us? They have issues.
Olallana Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 How odd, we're seeing exactly the same thing here, one of our players cosying up with a skate, yet no saints fans seem at all bothered by it. Why has it upset them and not us? So you think Lallana knew who that guy was? I doubt it

Why has it upset them and not us? I was wondering if I should be outraged and seething, quite cross, a bit miffed or just laugh my butt off at the loons.
richard Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 So you think Lallana knew who that guy was? I doubt it Haha, good point!
Lighthouse Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Weren't Beatts and Matt Taylor pretty good mates when they were down here? Just a shame Bradley didn't ask for an autograph, the Skates would have blown a fuse.
Matthew Le God Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 How odd, we're seeing exactly the same thing here, one of our players cosying up with a skate, yet no saints fans seem at all bothered by it. Why has it upset them and not us? Lallana would get asked by random people all the time for a photo. Do you think he had any idea who this 4th tier player was? He probably thought he was a Saints fan. It is Bradley that asked for the photo and then posted it on social media.
KelvinsRightGlove Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Weren't Beatts and Matt Taylor pretty good mates when they were down here? Just a shame Bradley didn't ask for an autograph, the Skates would have blown a fuse. Yup

He probably thought he was a Saints fan. It is Bradley that asked for the photo and then posted it on social media. This. I had no idea who he was. Why should anyone who doesn't support Pompey have any idea who he is. He's not "cosying" up to him as norwaysaint said. He's having a picture with him because he's a nice bloke.
Rut Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Superb reaction from the skates, absolute class! Yeah it's quality. I think 'Hes not only a scummer hes chief scummer' is my fav one.
DuncanRG Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Can we get 'Chief Scummer' written on the armband instead of 'captain'?
Saints Warrior Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 The word is that Pompey (Skates run by the fans) maybe going into administration again..... Maybe this player wants to stay on the pitch rather than take a yellow or red card and sees a better team down the road!! ha ha this is brilliant on top of a Skate player taking £70,000 allegedly for yellow and red cards. Makes no difference if Skates has 8, 9, 11, 13, 15 players on the pitch they are still and always will be ****.
trousers Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 The word is that Pompey (Skates run by the fans) maybe going into administration again.... Source? (We should start a thread on this )
SNSUN Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 I'm surprised anyone associated with the Skates, player or fan, even has access to Twitter, be it on a phone, tablet or computer. I thought they still communicated by etching drawings on the walls of caves.
Toomer Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 I bet Adam thought it was some random bloke asking for a picture with him.
Huffton Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 (edited) Pompey defender Sonny Bradley has wound the Skates up by posting photos of himself with Adam Lallana in a bar last night on Twitter and Instagram. Can anyone translate that last one. Is it some kind of weird pikey inbred language? Think I may start following Mr Warburton... Edit: Actually just read through some of his tweets. Unreadable garbage interspersed with the odd obligatory 4-1. Edited 8 December, 2013 by Huffton
SNSUN Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Just like the followers of Jesus Christ tried to touch him to heal their ills, perhaps Sonny Bradley was touching Lallana in the hope some of his talent would pass into him. Is that a decent metaphor for the incident? :-D
Tomobz Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Hahaha, how long until we have an account set up with the name ''Chief Scummer''?
OttawaSaint Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Can anybody translate, I thought they spoke English in Portsmouth...
Patrick Bateman Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 My word they are retarded replies which have probably been written by angry, hormonal 15 year olds. I'm sure most sensible older skates don't care?? Players are friends with other players, lower league players will be happy to be seen with an international player (career enhancement and all that). It really is no big deal and as someone further up said, Beattie had plenty of mates that played down that end of the M27.
The Kraken Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 They're at it over on Pompey Online as well; the amount of seething going on all round is utterly laughable! That is an astonishingly stupid thing to do. I fully expect him to be booed in every game. Pompey career over. Its just dirty... Its more than a bit of a mistake, its totally stupid, disrespectful to Pompey fans and he deserves criticism (tho' maybe not the level of abuse he's getting on Twitter) He should apologise. Shows a complete lack of understanding of the rivalry. Don't do Twitter (reason 3, 697) because of rubbish like this. A stupid, careless player doing something stupid and careless. I suggest he learns his trade before moving onto the sophistication of Twitter! do our players receive any sort of education..............any new player should go on a stadium tour with Mr Payne and be properly enlightened bradley you sir required a scrub up ya *****
norwaysaint Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 So you think Lallana knew who that guy was? I doubt it Lallana would get asked by random people all the time for a photo. Do you think he had any idea who this 4th tier player was? He probably thought he was a Saints fan. It is Bradley that asked for the photo and then posted it on social media. Yes, but even if he knew who it was and was being matey with a Pompey player, would you really be bothered like they are? Would you care if Lallana posted the picture? I don't think many of us would care.
Joey-deacons-left-nut Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 No. The hatred is pretty much one way. Whilst I would say most of us don't like them and enjoying watching them fail, the seething, rabid hatred that oozes from Portsmouth isn't really replicated by us. Sure its funny watching them wallow in the mire, we sing songs about shooting them at matches, we shout at them when the occasionally play us, but you spot someone walking round Southampton in a Pompey shirt and you pity them. Someone walking round Portsmouth in a Saints shirt is either mental or doing it for a dare as they won't get out alive. It's the whole island mentality they ave going on over there. Them Vs the word and **** everyone else.
Lighthouse Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Can anybody translate, I thought they spoke English in Portsmouth... "It's faaaackin' summers mush!" roughly translates as, "I say, it's one of those chaps from Southampton." I'm not sure on the rest though, try Google translate.
Griffo Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 No. The hatred is pretty much one way. Saints Warrior Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 From Skates who live in Portsmouth......so they should know!!
OldNick Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 When HR had a Pompey shirt at that golf do we were not happy. I'm more concerned that AL is going to places where he meets up with. Pompey players. I think Steve Moran had a problem all those years ago at a club didn't he?
Tamesaint Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 They're at it over on Pompey Online as well; the amount of seething going on all round is utterly laughable! That is hilarious.
70's Mike Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Just hope Adam had a good wash when he got home
Saints Warrior Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 used to go to North End in my Saints shirt and scarf to get motorbike serviced...very easy to get the Skates going. Last year went to see Motorhead at Portsmouth Guildhall and got a skate to take a photo of me with Saints scarf inside and outside. Lots of `you skate bastard` during the gig
Graffito Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 When HR had a Pompey shirt at that golf do we were not happy. I'm more concerned that AL is going to places where he meets up with. Pompey players. I think Steve Moran had a problem all those years ago at a club didn't he? Some took offence at a shirt behind some dry lining at Staplewood.
SNSUN Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 I wonder if Bradley will get booed at the next Skate game, or whether it's simply a select few cretins who are the vocal minority that have a problem with it...
Barry the Badger Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Pretty sure that if the roles were reversed, we were in league two and one of our players did that with a Pompey player, they would get a fair amount if abuse for it. It's pretty dim of him, it really rubs the Skates noses in their current position to see one of their best players hero worshipping our captain!
Grey Crab Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 How odd, we're seeing exactly the same thing here, one of our players cosying up with a skate, yet no saints fans seem at all bothered by it. Why has it upset them and not us? There are subtle differences. Firstly, Saints are currently very successful, whereas Pompey are currently not. This skews the relationship slightly. Secondly, the picture was posted by the Pompey player, implying that the he was showing deference to Lallana. If Lallana had posted the picture showing deference to the Pompey player, the reaction may have been different.
Stud mark of doom Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 He's snapped from the left He's snapped from the right Adam Lallana He made Bradley's night
ART Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Don't see any women, must have been a Gay Bar. Wonder what the fishy ones would make of that!!! ")
OldNick Posted 8 December, 2013 Posted 8 December, 2013 Don't see any women, must have been a Gay Bar. Wonder what the fishy ones would make of that!!! ")Not only Pompey have anti gay fans
