buctootim Posted 6 December, 2013 Share Posted 6 December, 2013 Says something when people need to spam a tribute page to a dead man to get attention. Isn't there some facebook page for a teenage car crash victim you can post on to get your top up?
Turkish Posted 6 December, 2013 Share Posted 6 December, 2013 Says something when people need to spam a tribute page to a dead man to get attention. Isn't there some facebook page for a teenage car crash victim you can post on to get your top up? Agreed, i wish Solent Stars would answer the questions rather than spamming. I bear Mandella no ill and as i said above it never a good time when someone dies. I'm just wondering firstly why some people are being lamblasted as racists for not joining in with the outpouring of grief on here and what the difference is between what they've said and those that were claiming they would be celebrating Margert Thatchers death when no one batted an eyelid. Secondly i'm asking the question as to what this chap who has been labelled a legend and an inspiration has inspired those claiming this to do. Or maybe we should just have 500 posts all saying what a hero he is and RIP?

buctootim Posted 6 December, 2013 Share Posted 6 December, 2013 (edited) I bear Mandella no ill and as i said above it never a good time when someone dies. Then why not just shut the **** up? I was glad Diana died late at night on Saturday, because it meant she didn't trash the Sunday papers by being in them. It doesn't mean I went to Kensington Palace to **** on the floral tributes. Let people do what they want without trying to score points or belittle everything you think isnt cool or is hypocritical. Yes there is a lot of phoney emotionalism around now. This thread probably isnt one of those places. Edited 6 December, 2013 by buctootim

Maggie was an inspiration to many in this country (i should imagine) that never stopped the disgusting micky taking from her death......
buctootim Posted 6 December, 2013 Share Posted 6 December, 2013 you were glad dianna died? jolly nice of you. I bet you asked the same questions turkish is asking now at those upset by dianna passing?! Well done, you missed the point yet again Jamie. No I wasnt glad she died, I just wasnt particulalrly upset she died and didnt want to read 30 pages about her dying. The point Jamie, spoken slowly, is that I didnt try and mock people for feeling differently to me. Anyway back to Mandela. Amazing to be able to emerge from 27 years in prison and then do what he did. RIP.

This thread probably isnt one of those places. I'm not doing that at all. Asking some simple questions which people are unwilling or unable to answer. Not my problem this is the case Why have people been called racists for not joining in the grief yet some people said they were celebrating the death of Thatcher and no was bothered? RIP. dont think anyone is mocking anyone. people are pointing out that before he became an icon, he was a terrorist that murdered women and children. That should never be forgotten as that was the path that brought him to what he became. he served his sentence But the fake out pouring of grief we get now is way OTT. still, at least we wont be getting and ding dong, he's dead songs....that would be politically incorrect......all of a sudden!! Turkish Posted 6 December, 2013 Share Posted 6 December, 2013 Classic SWF, anyone that doesn't post exactly what some want to hear is automatically labelled a "troll". Isn't it just. Say something they dont like or ask a difficult question they dont like the answer to or unable to answer and it's trolling.

Whitey Grandad Posted 6 December, 2013 Share Posted 6 December, 2013 Anyway back to Mandela. Amazing to be able to emerge from 27 years in prison and then do what he did. RIP. Indeed. The debate will go on for ever as to whether it was because of the time spent in jail or despite it.
