Disciplinary Action?

Recommended Posts

I think we should have a poll. Most of those that should be banned have previously contributed several posts to this thread demonstrating once again why they should be banned. Amusingly Alpine thought this was about him I would not want to see Alpine banned, he is not a troll, just a bit deluded, and provides some of the comical content to this forum. I would only like to see 2 bans, and they have been mentioned here many times already so no point stating the obvious again. But the problem is that the Moderators of this board just let them register again with some new name and it all starts again. If the Forum were modified so that you don't see replies to those on Ignore then the problem would be solved.

Happy for you clappies to have a whinge thread, but it doesnt belong in this section.

Really, I feel sorry for the way you chaps turn to jelly when someone posts a negative byline. I just picked up my first infraction for a year today for something pretty innocuous, and I am pretty certain it was the level of moaning the poor mod invovled was getting from certain Steven Segal wannabee posters on here.

Meanwhile the very same Group of Posters get away with calling People "c*nts"

What a slimey little thread this is, a roll call of grasses, classless, I would not want anyone banned as it would have a detrimental to the forum, I predicted this two hours ago, the happiers ones become vicious when they have lost a debate.

C*nts.

Concerning whom and what? I'm pulling out all the stops as it is.

concerning whatever you like. I don't mind what they're about, just try and make them more interesting. Srsly the ones you do about football can be v.dull + boring to read. Go for more quality than quantity.

That one you done bout birmingham on other thread made me genuine lols tho!

Line 3 and 5 are utter bullsh*t.

The likes of Barry, Glasgow, Dalek and myself are the not the ones who take it off topic and start the abuse cycle. And we often try to stick to the Topic better than the abusers as we seek to defend ourselves.

Some of you really like to twist things...

How is it that probably 90% of threads end up being about Gaston/Osvaldo when one of you or Barry show up?

Because you take it off topic

I wasn't gonna post on this thread as I don't think it's a good idea.

However, I do have a list, and you were not on it. Your posts are genuine IMO, depressing, but heart felt. No problem there for me, at least. :)

Edit: Having read the rest of the thread, it seems that nobody has a problem with you! :)

Glad the thread has not been locked. They know who they are and site admin know who they are but cant be ****ed to ban them.

Football is all about opinion in everyway, but constant trolling and nil support for our team ever just gets very monotonous and drags this place down massively.

Forum is a great tool for me as an ex pat, but it is turning into a **** show.

To me it's quite clear who the obvious WUM's are, and it should be to the mods as well. So they'd be struck off pretty quickly. I dont buy any of this forum character bull**** either, they're just an absolute borefest of relentless drivel.

the great advantage of the WUMs (as far as admin are concerned I suppose) is that they're here all day, every day. So it keeps the post count regular, perhaps the forum could get a grant from the Job Centre for letting them practice their communication skills.

Absolutely appalling thread. Charlie/Duncan/***t ought to be ashamed of himself. If anyone needs to be banned from here it's you, you plank.

Put it this way: Based only on what I know from posting habits, if I could choose one forum member to have a pint with, who would it be? That's right, probably one of Glasgow, Barry, Alpine or Bearsy. Might throw Colin into the mix if I'm in the mood for intellectual discussion.

But the aforementioned four are the life of this forum - funny, clever, knowledgeable and above all, humble! All four of them seem safe, honest, decent people who are probably as enthralling in real life as they are on this forum. Great to be around and be with.

Most of the rest of the posters are old opinionated ***** who for some reason take great pleasure in calling online posters trolls, mongs, bedwetters, etc. Wouldn't want to be around them in real life, and could really care less about the condescending self-important ****** they type here regarding footie and everything else.

I, like most sane people, wouldn't want anybody banned and everyone is welcome here and entitled to their own opinion, however twisted/"wrong"/controversial it may be.

Disgraceful thread.

So far leading the way is nobody to be banned.

Second place is Barry Sanchez.

Interesting that many threads call for bans, yet when asked to name people, only Saint Garrett has been brave enough to put his head above the parapet.

I THINK that's because in the heat of debate some get maybe carried away or go to far & others get wound up to easy... however why would anyone really need to be banned ? There are trolls on here as every net forum.

Nobody should be banned just for having an opinion. It goes completely against free expression. It's a good thing we're all different.

I couldn't agree more. The issue is when an opinion is repeated over and over again to the point of utter tedium in whatever thread has just been posted whether relevant or not.

Pretty damn simple, I don't want to read what certain posters type... yet we are all forced to see it when other people quote them...

Everyone's lives would be much simpler if we just could not see these posts, they couldn't be quoted to those that have them on ignore, and basically, we don't get to see that they have even posted. That would be bliss.

Being labelled a clappie or cult of Cortese just because you don't share the same opinion as someone is a bit lazy. Ironically it's always done by the people who say everyone is entitled to an opinion. I wouldn't ban anyone but it sounds like ignore function could be improved for those that choose to use it.
