Disciplinary Action?

Saint Charlie

Recommended Posts

If it came to it, I wouldn't want to see anyone banned for the sake of it.....But if Barry, Glasgow, Turks and their various guises were restricted to 3 post's a day, this place would be whole different class of forum...

I find it hard to see why peeps have a problem with Alpine...He may come over as overly negative to some, but as peeps have said above, it's clearly his genuine opinion and he's not just forum pollution like terrible triplets mentioned above.

Anyone you would like to ban then Alps?

You give the impression of a slimey little man, being sly has no age barrier but the older you get the more pitiful it becomes, wanting someone banned from an internet forum, for the Love of God man are you for real, and starting a thread about it?

I can honestly say this is pitiful.

I don't want you banned....drawn and quartered and your body strewn to the four quarters ofthe country would do....too far?

Don't mind stating my view.

Ban the dullards that keep banging their individual drums; Barry, Glasgow and Turkish.

Or as another poster suggested, restrict them to 3 posts a day and in my opinion, remove their ability to start new threads.

Barry - comical (at least in his mind) variations on Gaston's name are tedious. You post on average 14-15 times a day too - do you not have a life?!

Glasgow - troll of the highest order. Everyone look at me mentality which I am sure he is doing tongue in cheek. Was funny for first 5 minutes but you can bore off now bleating about all your internet friends and how you break scoops on signings etc. You start more threads than most people have hot dinners. Another one who seemingly has too much time on their hands.

Turkish - constantly trying to come across as 'I all told you this, look at me'. Again far too much time on your hands >22k posts?!

Don't get me wrong, I love saints and talk about them a lot but don't spend my life on a forum. It's the posters who contribute less who are better. The pinpoint for the forum going downhill was when they started to charge to use it or maybe around a year after that when the decent posters all left when they realized it may only be a fiver but that's a couple of pints in a cheap pub and better spent that way and talking to people face to face than be sat in front of a keyboard arguing with the same people who spend all day on here. When these better posters left it just meant the likes of the above could flood it with tripe. I get people are entitled to an opinion but banging that opinion down people's throat every 2 minutes on threads which are nothing to do with it is a bore. Most threads you are on Barry come back to your views about Gaston. Really?!

There are still one or two decent posters but I fear they'll get bored after a while. Tokyo and Bear spring to mind here. They can contribute to serious conversation once in a while but don't take themselves too seriously, are good with banter and funny.

This is where the happier ones cry to the moderators about lunatics running the asylum and how a few are ruining it for the majority, a forum is a forum and is far better with wide ranging opinions, they will also get defensive and in no way shape or form concede they may perhaps have been optimistic in their appraisal of our side, the ones seen as the more negative should actually be seen as the realistic and level headed ie I have not seen one rant or meltdown from persons exercising good and reserved judgment before the 3 defeats.

I posted this at 1149am this morning, after every defeat the happier ones bring out their deletion and banning routine, its predictable and classless.

I actually think the post restriction thing would work well, for everyone. Something like max 5-8 posts per day.

One of the biggest problem, is people repeating their opinions over and over thinking that somehow that makes it a fact.

You go first then Charles, lead from the front and all that.

oh shoot sorry about that :(

I will pay your subs this year :(

Don't worry bout it, you're already paying for 4 or 5 different accounts i wouldn't want to add to your burden. Not in the current economic climate. I was just surprised is all cos I've always considered you one of the most knowledgeable and successful football tipsters on saintsweb, if not the whole internet.

He averages over 14.5 per day actually' date=' that's an extra 1.5 'Gashton's sh!t@' posts you've missed there Charlie ;)[/quote']

Final post of the day: I stand corrected, you were right Charlie, it is nearer 13.5 than 14.5 I have given Barry the benefit of the doubt of signing up at the beginning of November 2012 rather than the end...

In hindsight I would keep Duncan on the board because he has lots of good sources.

That 110 Persaint guy is a loon though, and contributes nothing. I think he likes you as well Glasgow, seems to copy your sort of style.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

However I like 110% and think he is probably the 2nd best poster on here atm
