CB Saint Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 Lovely and sunny - what was that about liverpool being better?
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 December, 2013 Author Posted 5 December, 2013 Walking my dog this morning was amusing, it was like that Fenton clip.
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 December, 2013 Author Posted 5 December, 2013 Lovely and sunny - what was that about liverpool being better? Liverpool will never replace the South, sure its better for many things to do but its not in my soul like my home, Hampshire will always have my heart.
SNSUN Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 It's windy both outside and inside my house here near Windsor. I can't smell the wind outside but the wind inside is rank.
alpine_saint Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 I am expecting when I get home all the patio and decking furniture to be next door or somewhere in L17/19 area. That wont have anything to do with the wind, though.
Huffton Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 That wont have anything to do with the wind, though.
Antrimsaint Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 Been down to otterspool parade. Water over the promenade and they have closed off the city. Pretty bad by all accounts
Smirking_Saint Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 Well its gonna get worse, Ive been asked to go up north to help with the storms. That said there is a reasonable breeze here aswell. Aslong as it doesnt snow I dont care
hypochondriac Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 That wont have anything to do with the wind, though. I laughed out loud.
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 December, 2013 Author Posted 5 December, 2013 That wont have anything to do with the wind, though. That sort of behaviour does not happen in my community.
Barry Sanchez Posted 5 December, 2013 Author Posted 5 December, 2013 Been down to otterspool parade. Water over the promenade and they have closed off the city. Pretty bad by all accounts Just walked the dog by there now, its a bit better than before but still a tad breezy, Aigburth Road is a mess with branches all over the road.
Hatch Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 walking down Bond Street earlier and a sudden massive gust of wind lifted the skirt of this extremely fit bird almost over her head. Marvellous.

Whitey Grandad Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 I've just been along the beach at Hamble for my constitutional walk. I was struggling along the gravel into the teeth of a gale when some runner came jogging past me.
SNSUN Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 I am happy to announce that the wind cleared the leaves away in the back garden again. This happened during the "great storm" recently too, and is most welcomed.

pap Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 Yeah, it's most unpleasant up here. I turned the car alarm off after it went off for the fifth time, doors are rattling. New Brighton, just over the water near the tip of the Wirral peninsula, is flooded. Some good pictures here:- http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/live-merseyside-hit-high-winds-6375437
Rut Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 It's windy today isn't it? No it's not - it's Thursday. So am I - let's have a beer.
badgerx16 Posted 5 December, 2013 Posted 5 December, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yOGJegd3dmQ High tide with a backing wind - a bit wet at work today.
