SaintAmongSkates Posted 4 December, 2013 Share Posted 4 December, 2013 •The last time Southampton lost to Aston Villa, in 2005, current first-team players Luke Shaw and James Ward-Prowse were still at primary school.
Golden Balls Posted 4 December, 2013 Share Posted 4 December, 2013 I'd rather not to be reminded of that horrible game alongside being told how much younger and richer some teenagers are compared to me.
Dr Who? Posted 4 December, 2013 Share Posted 4 December, 2013 We were 2-0 up and everything was looking good. But this did happen a lot that season.
Northant Saint Posted 4 December, 2013 Share Posted 4 December, 2013 Remember it well. There were massive traffic jams around the city due to an accident, so we missed both of our goals. Came in just before HT only to watch us capitulate completely. Vivid memories.

Yep, saves me having to type it. Those games still haunt me and why even now if we are winning and playing comfortably there forever remains the little voice that says 'but this is your Saints, and they will feck it up'
kpturner Posted 4 December, 2013 Share Posted 4 December, 2013 Wasn't that the game that we were 2-0 up and lost 3-2 - the winner being scored by our own Steve Davis?
