Bet version of When the Saints Go Marching In

Apart from the Northam version, which do the forum think is the best version of WTSGMI? I'm looking on Amazon for versions and there's about a thousand to choose from. I quite like the Jerry lee lewis version.

My version whilst drunk in a hotel bar in Germany. I got up and sang it with the jazz band and after they had finished it turns out they were all Dortmund fans who knew all about Saints. They said that they admired our academy and knew all about Jeff Kenna and Matt Oakley. We spent the rest of the night signing the matthew Oakley song and downing Hoegarden with them and some lovely Fraulines. In the morning we played golf.

 

What a weekend.

I think Golfing Phil did something similar Turks but got Lee Westwood to join in, then everyone did Sambuca from the Ryder cup while Eric did the Lombardo with a blonde schrapnel from Tiger. What a night!

Tokes, you nailed it in one with this clip. For me this is THE definitive version of our song and I wrote on a thread some time ago that they should play this on the big screens at SMS on game days. Who wouldn't want to sing along to this, it swings like crazy and is just superb playing by all involved and how good is Jewel Brown on this! The Louis Armstrong All Stars .. classic stuff.
