Players' agents

I was having a browse through the 'transfermarkt' website this morning and noticed that a number of our players' agents aren't listed.

Does anyone on here know who represents players such as Lallana, Lambert, Morgan, Ward-Prowse etc?

Morgan is just represented by a law firm, Thomas Cooper law, isn't Lallana represented by his Dad ?

Do agents do anything to actually benefit football as a game?

Or are they the parasites that force up wages & drain the bank accounts of everyone, fans, clubs, even the players they 'represent'

Seem to remember hearing a manager say on more than a few times he was phoned by an agent to say that a player wanted to move to a new club only to find out when he made a call to the players club that the player had only signed a new long term contract a few days before

I have no doubt that footballers need representation. They sign complex multimillion pound contracts that most people would need advice on. They also have to negotiate those contracts with some very shrewd people and using agents gives them a useful degree of separation from the negociation.

Unfortunately a bunch spivs got involved eg Eric hall and all of a sudden the lines between the players interest and the agents interests got blurred

I'd be more interested in who is/are the agents who get us into deals with Italian Ligua players. I only wish British agents were more to the fore in getting us to sign uprising British players.

They go where the cash is. It is not an issue of nationality whatsoever for these people.

Using that logic, they need a good solicitor; not some coked up knucklehead demanding six figure sums as reward for negotiating inflated wage deals for players.
