A security guard raised the alarm after spotting the bag outside HSBC bank on Commercial Road at around 4pm. St Landrew Posted 12 December, 2008 Share Posted 12 December, 2008 In Shirley this evening, I saw a shopping bag with a pristine box wrapper for a toy inside it. I nudged the bag as I walked past. I judged the box and bag moved far too easily, so I carried on uninterested. Later on I realised it was probably a shop lifting item that had been carried out of a shop, and the contents removed before the shoplifter legged it. Naughty person.
