Has anyone seen that saints have released a winter range or training kit? I think it is ridiculous, yet it is nicer than the other stuff but the other stuff has only been out about 2 months and at the price it is, people aren't going to pay for a new lot if they already have brought some of the black and red stuff. Its just a money making way for the club. I work for Chelsea and even they don't have 2 types of training kit in the space of 4 months.

Im going to be setting up a facebook group as i hate this kit as it is not stripes and our training kit should be stripes. Although i've just ordered a couple of tops and a bench coat.

Print some disenfranchised tshirts too?

Whoa whoa whoa. You've yet to make good on the foam hands. One thing at a time.

It might have something to do with Chelsea releasing six versions of their training kit at the beginning of the season compared to the three that Saints promoted.

Just another money spinner. It actually looks really nice, but those just aren't Saints colours to me so probably won't be buying

We will be renamed "The Bluebirds" next.

Can't really go slating Adidas for the fact we have a winter training range, as we also done the same when we produced our 'S' branded gear a few years back. Actually think it looks quite smart, and the luminous t-shirt is perfect for people that enjoy road-running so I shall probably invest in one myself.

I would have liked the all weather jacket in yellow, would have been great for cycling.

Wouldn't want to go road-running now in just a yellow t-short mind...

That's because Chelsea's contract at Adidas is specialised, ours is more generic.

As a foundation coach, you will know there are a number of different tracksuits (Champions League, Europa League, Academy, First team etc)

I quite like the training kit. Just wish we could buy the kit in 'normal' stores alongside every other Prem team's stuff. Why does this persist?

No we released a Spring range, but at the time it was all a lot less expensive as well.

Presumably because this way Saints get a larger percentage of the profits, as they are the retailer and get all the mark up.

Whether that's still more money than the club would get from getting a smaller amount of revenue per kit item (but probably selling far more of them due to impulse buys, convenience, higher profile, etc.) is obviously a decision that's been consciously made. Nice to see Cortese and Lowe can agree on one thing, anyway. ;)

Interesting colour choices, fluorescent greeny-yellow and navy. I think West Brom have had this training colourway since August and at least one of the other Prem sides (possibly Stoke) was warming up in the same stuff the weekend gone.

Are people really complaining about us bringing out a new range of clothing? You do realise that it is not a prerequisite of being a fan that you have to buy every single item of teamwear don't you? If you don't then i'd suggest it's your problem rather than that of the clubs!
