Glasgow_Saint Posted 1 December, 2013 Author Posted 1 December, 2013 Absolute pants! Goodbye and good riddance osWALDO
Whitey Grandad Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Hmm... I'm beginning to get worried about him.
lordswoodsaints Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 ****e......he's not the answer for us
Bewildered Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Done absolutely naff all today, really poor.
Smirking_Saint Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 He seems lost. I can honestly see sonething in Ramirez when he plays, he just doesnt fit, but Osvaldo ?! Ive not seen anything today to suggest he is worth what we paid.
Saint_clark Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 I said when we signed him that it was a different proposition to Ramirez and Wanyama - we weren't signing a young player who needed time to settle and progress, we signed someone who was at peak age. He needed to start performing fairly early and he hasn't.
JoeShmoe Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 If you say osWALDO another 100 times someone might actually find it funny How about we support the guy and give him a chance?
badgerx16 Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 I've shied away from criticising him too much up to now, but he's had enough chances now -he looks lost and doesn't seem to be a team player.
St Marco Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 To be fair how many chances were made for him today by our midfield? Whenever we had a set piece we wasted it by either going to the 1st man or the keeper. You could of played Messi up front today and it would of been no different. Zero service.
Lighthouse Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 I wouldn't blame him for today, it was a poor team performance by everyone second half. However based on everything I've seen of him so far, he needs to seriously get his arse in gear. If Lee Barnard had put in identical performances this season, we would all be gobsmacked as to how he was still in the team. As others have said, players like Wanyama and Gaston are young and deserve a bit more patience. When you sign a 27 year old for €15m you expect a more refined article.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 1 December, 2013 Author Posted 1 December, 2013 Said it after 2 games! OsWALDO is ****
ottery st mary Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Poor games from Lallana , Osvaldo, JWP , Morgan etc Mainly because Chelsea did not let us play.... Ramires kicked everything that moved and dived at the slightest contact.......the ref turned a blind eye.... Ramires then goes on to be man of the match. Yes, they were better than us and we had too many players off the pace.....but the ref:rolleyes: As for our normal pathetic posters:mcinnes:...sod off and support your own team:(

Yeah, our attacking play left a lot to be desired today. Toothless is a word I'd use! However, he didn't really make any clever runs or attempt to hold the ball up. You can complain about not getting the service, but he's got to put in a shift himself, which he didn't do today. Doubt he's even sweating.
Mr X Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 At least he will get the real move he wants in January we were just a stepping stone in the bigger plan
Pastor Patrón Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 No idea why he's so bad, I thought he'd be ideal for us but he really is that bad. Unfortunately it leaves us hugely under powered upfront.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 1 December, 2013 Author Posted 1 December, 2013 even cahill and terry moking him in the interview. # embarrassing
Wiggles31 Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 As much as I have defended him just doesn't fit in for whatever reason. Imagine if we have the 25 million to spend from Ramirez and Osvaldo on a player in January. And OsWaldo is mega cringe++++
Unbelievable Jeff Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Said it after 2 games! OsWALDO is **** Surely that shows nothing but that you don't give players a chance..?
sfc1976 Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Not seeking to defend his overall work ethic and commitment etc, but I honestly can't remember him having that many genuine chances of scoring since being here? It's not like he's fouling up one on ones all the time.
Restark19 Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 even cahill and terry moking him in the interview. # embarrassing what did they say
david in sweden Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 let's just say ......it's disappointing. I don't believe that he's a bad player, but the likes of Osvaldo and Ramirez just don't seem to be able to cope with the " physical side " of the Prem. Surely something that must be taken into account when we buy such players.....for such large fees.
ashleyb5443 Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 what did they say That they won loads of money betting he wouldn't score against them.
DuncanRG Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Didn't get much service but he was very poor today.
aintforever Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Don't understand leaving Lambert on the bench for that sh!te.
S-Clarke Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Even though he was **** today, to even suggest he's got to go, when he's not even made double figures of appearances for us, sums up the modern-day football fan.
Barry Sanchez Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Should have signed Gary Hooper, he scored yesterday...............................
shirleysfc Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Even though he was **** today, to even suggest he's got to go, when he's not even made double figures of appearances for us, sums up the modern-day football fan. Yep, it's embarrassing.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Even though he was **** today, to even suggest he's got to go, when he's not even made double figures of appearances for us, sums up the modern-day football fan. Usual suspects relishing in a players disappointing performance.. Not sure i class them as fans..
Plumstead_Saint Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 I honestly can't remember him having that many genuine chances of scoring since being here? Exactly, and that's why he looks like a waste of money. he did miss a sitter the other week, but I expect him to create chances. Rickie doesn't score every game at thsi level, but he does create chances for others and rack up assists. I would have expected a guaranteed 15 - 20 goals a season for a player of his pedigree and cost, and so far it's 1 in 10 games! Looks like another bad buy-in, as per Ramirez and Forren [LOL]. Thank f**k we have some decent home grown players!
beatlesaint Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Don't understand leaving Lambert on the bench for that sh!te. Cos Rickie wouldn't manage three games in six days I suspect.
shirleysfc Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Cos Rickie wouldn't manage three games in six days I suspect. And because he had a mare against Arsenal.
Restark19 Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Should have signed Gary Hooper, he scored yesterday............................... so did Carlton Cole, we could have got him for free!!!!!!!!
Batman Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 (edited) Exactly, and that's why he looks like a waste of money. he did miss a sitter the other week, but I expect him to create chances. Batman Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Should have signed Gary Hooper, he scored yesterday............................... What about the amazing RvW?
OldNick Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Glasgow is delighted as he has not rated him, nothing like praying a player fails eh. He was poor today but so were so many of the team. We lost to this seasons champions. Iam not ready to bin Osvaldo yet, but he does need to start showing a bit more
Batman Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Even though he was **** today, to even suggest he's got to go, when he's not even made double figures of appearances for us, sums up the modern-day football fan. And people moan about loyalty in the game

DuncanRG Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 And people moan about loyalty in the game Haha, exactly.
S-Clarke Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Buying 15-20 goals straight into a prem the requires massive luck or far more than £13m To be fair, of all the big signing strikers made this summer, the only one that I can think of who has made a good start is Negredo. Soldado, Van-Wolfswhatsit, Osvaldo, Bony - Have all massively struggled to make an impact in the PL. And they all cost a fair whack of cash..... It's all about time though, not advocating selling them after 9 bloody appearances. Mental cases.
Roger Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 And because he had a mare against Arsenal. Oh do shut up. Wasn't great but a mare Jesus.
kpturner Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 It's baffling really. Clearly good enough for Italy, but looks totally out of his depth in the EPL. I keep waiting for him to perform, but he just doesn't seem to have enough about him to do so. I don't mean banging in goals left, right and centre - today whenever he got the ball he lost it. Very frustrating

Yet a player who may have been here for years gets slated for lack of loyalty when a gib club comes along Shaw will get it if he leaves . Yet we want a player out of the club after 9 games
colman1860 Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Said it after 2 games! OsWALDO is **** That's cause for embarrassment, not pride.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 That's cause for embarrassment, not pride. Correct! Glasgow Saint is the forum embarrassment...
shirleysfc Posted 1 December, 2013 Posted 1 December, 2013 Oh do shut up. Wasn't great but a mare Jesus. Lol. If you stopped beating off to your Rickie Lambert calendar and actually watched the matches, you'd realise that Rickie was as poor against Arsenal as Osvaldo was today. You won't though, as you're a little bit obsessed.
