S-Clarke Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 What did boruc actually do? He had a great big brain fart, and thought he was an outfield player.
BotleySaint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 What did boruc actually do? Took a touch, did a shimmy, took another touch, turned his back to the field and let Giroud simply tackle and tap in unchallenged.
Olallana Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 It´s tactical, Arsenal has calmed down now instead of keep coming at us...
Saints boy in Leeds Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 This boy thinks he's Ronaldo http://youtu.be/OBWZZJfQGgM
Glasgow_Saint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Wanyama does love the big games Excellent today
dan abnormal Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Game over. Did you say the same when we were 2-0 down at Stamford bridge last season. ffs
M271 Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Boruc started off shockingly for us' date=' he got fit and improved but his kicking has always been awful, now he's dropping the kind of clangers that most on here seem to believe Gazzaniga was making and should have been sent back to the lower leagues for.[/quote'] The goal at Stoke was hardly his fault. Can't believe the over reactions on here for a keeper who has played really well for us this season and has kept us in games.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Some of these Arse players are drama queens...
Jonnyboy Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 It´s tactical, Arsenal has calmed down now instead of keep coming at us... Lol, was just thinking that.
Coxford_lou Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Great pressure. Shame about Boruc... They're fighting back. This team has shed loads of character...
Batman Posted 23 November, 2013 Author Posted 23 November, 2013 well, at least i have giroud, coutinho, suarez and remy in my dream team
Wrensup Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 It's always annoying when it takes going a goal behind to then start playing.
S-Clarke Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 It's always annoying when it takes going a goal behind to then start playing. To be fair, we already had made a decent staqrt.
Sheaf Saint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 The goal at Stoke was hardly his fault. Can't believe the over reactions on here for a keeper who has played really well for us this season and has kept us in games. This. I don't hold him responsible for the goal at Stoke as he had no time at all to judge the conditions prior to it. He's been excellent and today's lapse is the only big, costly mistake he has made this season - which is a lot less than Joe Hart has made for Citeh.
S-Clarke Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Did you say the same when we were 2-0 down at Stamford bridge last season. ffs it was said in jest, calm down.
BotleySaint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 which is a lot less than Joe Hart has made for Citeh. Yeah but they are something like 6th
Professor Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Why have Arsenal borrowed a set of Southampton shirts?
Batman Posted 23 November, 2013 Author Posted 23 November, 2013 ah...j-rod nearly scores we look very good. shame 1-0 down
S-Clarke Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Jay has had a fantastic game so far in my eyes, showing everyone exactly why England called him up. Not his fault he was included in a shambles.
Sheaf Saint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Outstanding from Lallana there. Unlucky.
Pastor Patrón Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Rodriguez looks bloody amazing, best I've seen him play
OldNick Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 This. I don't hold him responsible for the goal at Stoke as he had no time at all to judge the conditions prior to it. He's been excellent and today's lapse is the only big, costly mistake he has made this season - which is a lot less than Joe Hart has made for Citeh. no he was very casual regrding the ball coming at him at Stoke. he has made another error, also if KD has passed the ball to Wanyama in trouble against Hull there would be daggers out for him. I accept all player make mistakes and Boruc will earn us more points than he costs us and so he is No.1 in my book
CanadaSaint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 We've got enough to get back into this, but the inevitable introduction of Theo will test us - especially if Shaw's hammy is dodgy. Boruc was lucky to get away with that crap against Michu a few weeks back - I hope we never see it again.
Sheaf Saint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Yeah but they are something like 6th Exactly. We are above them because our keeper has been much better than theirs, and he is England's #1.
Jimmy_D Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Feels like we've been the better team overall this half apart from that Boruc mistake.
Jonnyboy Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 This. I don't hold him responsible for the goal at Stoke as he had no time at all to judge the conditions prior to it. He's been excellent and today's lapse is the only big, costly mistake he has made this season - which is a lot less than Joe Hart has made for Citeh. Did he not have warm up before the match? He is a seasoned professional who should be able to understand the effects of wind on the ball andake adequate mental preparations.
Mr X Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 boruc is a good keeper but i think you'd struggle to find a worse cock up than that totally his own doing!
studentsaint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Wanyama dominant, Rodriguez attacking alone, Lambert very poor, feel osvaldo will be introduced by the hour mark, 2 up top?
BotleySaint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Feels like we've been the better team overall this half apart from that Boruc mistake. Arsenal hit the post twice before they scored. I'd say they had the better of the chances and possibly deserve to lead 1-0. Just not in those circumstances.
Saints boy in Leeds Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Sounds like if we can keep it to 1 we've got a great chance of getting level, Ossie on SRL off at half time ?
.comsaint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 What did boruc actually do? http://s3.amazonaws.com/br-cdn/temp_images/2013/11/23/BorucError.gif
Jonnyboy Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 our last 3 goal we have let in have been 100% avoidable This.
Sheaf Saint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Did he not have warm up before the match? He is a seasoned professional who should be able to understand the effects of wind on the ball andake adequate mental preparations. When Stoke won the toss they opted to change ends right before KO. Therefore Boruc had no frame of reference for the conditions when that ball came at him.
