Us in about the right place, competing with Everton for lower end of the Euro spots. Still, not bad and at the start of the season would have been delighted to be told we'd be in this place at end of November. We're still 5th then, still believe we could in theory finish above Liverpool,Utd and Spurs. Artur will have to cut out the comedy though.

He's been made a bit of a scapegoat for their struggles but if you spend that much on a centre forward who scores a lot of goals by running onto crosses made by genuine wingers who go on the outside of the full backs, it's an absolute nonsense to then play inverted wingers who cut inside all the time and full backs who get forward but can't cross to save their lives.

Paul Merson got it spot on when he said "how you ever gonna score a goal up front with Townsend playing? When's he ever gonna give you the ball?" All he ever does is cut inside and shoot.
