Hah 3-2 Everton! Is this still a good result for us? :)

 

If we're honest, we want Everton to drop points really. Only reason we want Liverpool to lose is that we have a chance of being top of the league, but in terms of the overall season, it would be better if Everton drop points as they're our realistic rivals in terms of places.

Its a shame this thread wasn't up before kick off, that sounds like a sound bet!

I have saints 2-0 @ 40-1, Saints 2-2 @ 14-1, Saints 3-2 @ 40 - 1, Saints 5 - 3 @ 100- 1, and Arsenal 5 - 3 @ 100 - 1.......

Spurs has very good players, but they are not a team at all and I think AVB might struggle to put it right considering they should really finish top 4 with that squad.

 

Last year they were up there close to 4th thanks to Bale but the teamplay is nowhere to be seen IMO.

Looks like the table will assume a more 'natural' order after the end of today. Us in about the right place, competing with Everton for lower end of the Euro spots. Still, not bad and at the start of the season would have been delighted to be told we'd be in this place at end of November.

Rooney shouldn't even be on the pitch. I've never understood all this "too early in the game to make a big decision with a red card" Right so if a player punches another in the first minute he won't be sent off? Of course he would. A red card offence is a red card offence, no matter what minute of the game it is.
