lickierambert Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 1-1 in the Merseyside derby as it stands, pretty poor defending for the Liverpool goal in particular. 6 of the top 8 playing each other over the weekend, should be a good set of games. Lambert 1st goal and 3-1 win 250/1. Stuck a fiver on it!
Mikey88 Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Feeling ambitious and got £10 on Saints 2-1 with J-Rod anytime at 45-1. On the off chance it comes in it will be a nice extra bonus for Christmas!
richard Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Hah 3-2 Everton! Is this still a good result for us?
Batman Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 what a great striker lukaku is why one earth are chelsea going to spend another £30m+ instead of him
S-Clarke Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Hah 3-2 Everton! Is this still a good result for us? If we're honest, we want Everton to drop points really. Only reason we want Liverpool to lose is that we have a chance of being top of the league, but in terms of the overall season, it would be better if Everton drop points as they're our realistic rivals in terms of places.

Batman Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 Utterly bizarre decision letting him go. they are an utterly bizarre club
Batman Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 selfish sturridge equalises 3-3 (was a good header)
stockportsaint Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 3-3 now. Reckon that's the best result for us. Keeps Everton below us.

S-Clarke Posted 23 November, 2013 Posted 23 November, 2013 This game is mental. Good result for us if it stays as a draw.

S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Tottenham look awful. Goes to show that buying lots of players doesn't actually work.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Tottenham look awful. Goes to show that buying lots of players doesn't actually work. And Lamela, makes Gaston look like a good player at less than half of the price, I really really wonder about the standard of Italian football sometimes. City's signing Negredo looks like a good player though.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Looks like Utd are going to be scraping the barrel to get a decent side out today. Must have 5 or 6 regular starters out I think.
Olallana Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Spurs has very good players, but they are not a team at all and I think AVB might struggle to put it right considering they should really finish top 4 with that squad. Last year they were up there close to 4th thanks to Bale but the teamplay is nowhere to be seen IMO.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 All our signings need a year to settle and adapt, but Spurs signings should be superb immediately?
Shroppie Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 (edited) Am liking the goals against column... And of the 7, the wind scored 1 and we gave 2 away. Edited 24 November, 2013 by Shroppie
S-Clarke Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Spurs are being utterly trashed. Don't see AVB lasting much longer. Negredo is an absolute class act though, to think he was close to joining Hull 3 years ago.

Wrensup Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Tottenham at home... nothing to worry about!
Delboy Dave Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Feel a bit better now after watching spurs get walloped 6-0
Georgie Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Tottenham at home... nothing to worry about! Man City at home before that may be a bit more of a worry though!
trousers Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Man City at home before that may be a bit more of a worry though! Nah...Man City are rubbish away from home...
stevegrant Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Weird game, that, City didn't even play that well
adrian lord Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 It does give me pleasure to see Spurs humiliated, although I like AVB. Might make their cocky fans bit less insufferable.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Weird game, that, City didn't even play that well but they were extremely efficient in the last 20 yards. Still a gift goal after 14 seconds helps.
adrian lord Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Looks like the table will assume a more 'natural' order after the end of today. Us in about the right place, competing with Everton for lower end of the Euro spots. Still, not bad and at the start of the season would have been delighted to be told we'd be in this place at end of November.
Olallana Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Ridicolous that Rooney is still on the pitch.
adrian lord Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Ridicolous that Rooney is still on the pitch. No it is not - he's a big name who plays for the biggest club on the planet.
Georgie Posted 24 November, 2013 Posted 24 November, 2013 Rooney shouldn't even be on the pitch. I've never understood all this "too early in the game to make a big decision with a red card" Right so if a player punches another in the first minute he won't be sent off? Of course he would. A red card offence is a red card offence, no matter what minute of the game it is.
