According to the trusty "In That Number" tome of all things SFC it states that we were Top of The League longer than anyone else that season - 30 Jan till 20 March FFS.

Who knows what may have happened if Steve Moran with his pace and movement hadn't been injured for the last 22 games?

Thought as much. I also remember that after going top against Middlesborough we never really played as well as we had done up to that point.
