Finally succumbed to M.S. A grave illness bravely borne.

 

Passed away yesterday.

I went to Bellemoor school with Kev before we moved away. A friend is married to his sister who is also a friend.

Very sad news. A very decent man and a very good goalkeeper when I knew him

I don't know if this is accurate, but I semi recognise the name. If its the chap I'm thinking of, met him in the late 70's at an away game or so, lived in or near Winchester, would be late 40's. Is this him?

Kev was 54, lived on the Shirley Estate near the towers

 

Spent many hours playing footy at St James Park with him, finally finished my playing days in the same team as Kev and Rich Chorley at BT Marine (now Royale Marine) some approaching the 40's, cant believe hes gone at such a young age

 

Top Keeper Top Bloke, cant quite take it in
