EastleighSoulBoy Posted 17 November, 2013 Posted 17 November, 2013 Top Saints fan, great little footballer and Chapel dweller for some years. Finally succumbed to M.S. A grave illness bravely borne. Passed away yesterday.
davefoggy Posted 17 November, 2013 Posted 17 November, 2013 Didn't know Kev but always sad when a fellow fan passes away, R.I.P
OldNick Posted 17 November, 2013 Posted 17 November, 2013 I went to Bellemoor school with Kev before we moved away. A friend is married to his sister who is also a friend. Very sad news. A very decent man and a very good goalkeeper when I knew him RIP
Badger Posted 17 November, 2013 Posted 17 November, 2013 RIP. I don't know if this is accurate, but I semi recognise the name. If its the chap I'm thinking of, met him in the late 70's at an away game or so, lived in or near Winchester, would be late 40's. Is this him?
Noodles34 Posted 17 November, 2013 Posted 17 November, 2013 Was he not a scooterist, has a brother? Friday nights down The Rumrunners back in the day? Am I thinking of the right guy?
Mustapha Fag Posted 17 November, 2013 Posted 17 November, 2013 Kev was 54, lived on the Shirley Estate near the towers Spent many hours playing footy at St James Park with him, finally finished my playing days in the same team as Kev and Rich Chorley at BT Marine (now Royale Marine) some approaching the 40's, cant believe hes gone at such a young age Top Keeper Top Bloke, cant quite take it in
rednrednredandwhite Posted 18 November, 2013 Posted 18 November, 2013 Played against Kev back in the early 80's, he was in goal for the shield and dagger back then. RIP Kev
Toomer Posted 18 November, 2013 Posted 18 November, 2013 New Kev from the Shield & Dagger days, RIP Kev.
