Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 One for the betting addicts..... Jay is currently 8-1 and Adam 4-1 to go to Brazil with England this summer. Might be worth a few hundred before the odds tumble (after tonights wonder shows)
CalneSaint Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Here's hoping they both play absolute blinders, and are given another shot on Tuesday.....
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 Jay looks scared to death :-( Looks like he might puke
Saints foreva Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 One for the betting addicts..... Jay is currently 8-1 and Adam 4-1 to go to Brazil with England this summer. Might be worth a few hundred before the odds tumble (after tonights wonder shows) Put £10 on Lallana a few weeks back when he was 20/1.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 Put £10 on Lallana a few weeks back when he was 20/1. Good man, knew you'd be in there early. I did similar
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 Chile are messing about with the ball at the back..... Saints would murder this team
NewYorkSaint Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Nice touches by both of them. Adam doing his usual steal the ball thing... ...and now a goal to make up.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 Ouch 1 nil.... 1st touch for Forster
St Chalet Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Lallana chance, created by Lallana pressing high.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 They look a bit slippery this Chile team
Saint_clark Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Chile are messing about with the ball at the back..... Saints would murder this team Erm no, they're doing what we do - their manager is from the same footballing "school" as Pochettino.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 Erm no, they're doing what we do - their manager is from the same footballing "school" as Pochettino. Forget the Wanyama embarrasment for one minute... I dont see us passing the ball around our 18 yard box to much (thankfully)
DT Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 (edited) Lallana having a shocker so far Edited 15 November, 2013 by DT
Saint_clark Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Forget the Wanyama embarrasment for one minute... I dont see us passing the ball around our 18 yard box to much (thankfully) You must have your f*cking eyes shut then, why do you think our CBs have such high passing statistics.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 Adam is the best player on the park imho, his runs off the ball are world class
Saint_Tony Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Think they're both too nervous, don't think either will be on the plane to Brazil, sadly
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 One for the betting addicts..... Jay is currently 8-1 and Adam 4-1 to go to Brazil with England this summer. Might be worth a few hundred before the odds tumble (after tonights wonder shows) Odds are now 800-1 & 400-1 pmsl Yolo
The Kraken Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 MILNER best player so far True, and quite the benchmark. At this rate JRod won't last past half time.
Turkish Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Lallana shown some decent touches, Jay seen hardly any of the ball.
Batman Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 think glenn johnson has been awful (as always)
The Kraken Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Lallana looking much sharper now; good lad.
mynameisthehulk Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Adam looking good in the last 5 minutes or so, much better
sandwichsaint Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Lallana getting going now. England very disjointed, CBs and keeper all over the shop.
edprice1984 Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Honestly don't know what game you are all watching, Lallana is looking very sharp - getting involved and trying to create something. Definately notice that Jay and Adam are playing the high pressing game, unfortunately the other players look like they can't be ar$ed
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 In many ways this Chile side remind me of Saints
lickierambert Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 The lack of pressing from the back 4 and central midfield leaving front three isolated. Saints v Chile would be a fascinating game
raynesparksaint Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Lallana has already contributed more for England than Stewart Downing
CalneSaint Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 In what universe is Phil Jones a centre back....he is rubbish.....
The Kraken Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 This Scottish keeper isn't up to much IMO.And Glasgow is correct; Chile look like Saints, England look pedestrian in comparison.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 15 November, 2013 Author Posted 15 November, 2013 As it stands, do we have a better team than England?
S-Clarke Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 They both look a bit lost The entire team looks lost. It's going to be impossible for them to make any sort of impression here, a disjointed horror show.
St Chalet Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Lallana has grown into the game, Jay not yet.
Turkish Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 They both look a bit lost Most of the team do, chile are a very good side to be fair, great on the ball. Think Lallana has done okay though.
sandwichsaint Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 As it stands, do we have a better team than England? Certainly a better midfield than Man U........ perhaps Rooney could be the last piece in the jigsaw, would be awesome in our side;)
Turkish Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 As it stands, do we have a better team than England? We do and have since our l1 days.
mynameisthehulk Posted 15 November, 2013 Posted 15 November, 2013 Pretty much everything England do well at the moment seems to involve Lallana
