How often do away tickets actually make it down to general sale? I assume it depends on a combination of big club/proximity?

(Very new to Saints - just moved here from Canada for school a couple months ago. Have been to three home games, would love to see them away)

Stoke made it to general sale. Newcastle may do I guess it is a long haul.

As long we our allocation is 2000 odd then this will easily make it on general sale, at those prices just before Christmas, lots of away games coming up with Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle then Cardiff and Everton over Christmas.

thats about double what we paid last year?!

I believe Newcastle charge us whatever it is we charge them.

Ordered mine via Northern Saints but £22 for my 11yo lad is taking the p*ss so will have a chat with him tonight. Not sure I can justify £60 for the pair of us to sit in the gods at the Toon.

Did you chose your username after a visit to the Toon? It's so high there I almost needed oxygen.

the word on the streets is that Villa is also on sale. My sources say Randy Lerner is sold out 49% to Red Bull.

For backgrounds I am v.well connected cos since I moved Birmingham I have twice had dinner with Sir Doug Ellis OBE, i is also met the Chief Executive of Villa whose name I can't remember, and only last week Dean Saunders flew back from golfing holiday in Ireland specifically to tell me some interesting + funny stories bout Brian Clough.

If you've got decent eyesight, the away end at St James' Park gives you a great view. If your eyesight is a bit ropey, it'll be the worst view in the league. It can be a bit "Sensible Soccer", I guess, but if you're interested in the tactical side of the game, it's perfect.

Game looked very easy from the sky last season. You get to see all the space and get frustrated that they cant see the runs and clear options

Looks like they've included Arsenal and/or Chelsea purchases in their eligibility criteria, in case anyone thought they might be one short for the first priority window. :toppa:

Arsenal definitely included - that gives me my 5. Strange lack of consistency since future matches weren't included when applying for Arsenal.

Not sure I'd describe the Saints ticket office being inconsistent in how they apply their own policies as particularly strange, to be honest
