Nothing ground breaking here and a very short 'interview' but I thought it may be of interest to others...

Interesting to hear Lallana say that everyone has been much 'happier' since MP took over.

How has Mauricio Pochettino made a difference to the club?

He’s made a massive difference since he’s come in. It was almost immediate the effect he had on the lads on and off the pitch and in training. The environment…everything…everyone is a lot happier. but it was interesting to see his expectations too:

How do you think AFC Bournemouth will get on? Mid table

What’s your goal tally target? 6

 

Nice interview, I hadn't heard comments like those about how much the players prefer things under MP before.

Everyone knows that you put your expectations lower.... that way when you achieve more you've done well as appose to under achieving

Aim for 18th - so 17th is a bonus success?

 

Alternatively, if you aim high, you can still do well if you just miss out. E.g. Aim for 1, come 4th

Surely you aim for 1st, expecting 4th, but have a backup plan in preparation for the unlikely worst case scenario? You certainly don't aim for that worst case, but if you've evaluated it, chances our it won't have as much of an impact.

I thought it was "aim for the stars, because if you fall short you'll reach the moon" or some such.
