In a way i hope that gaston does leave as he deserves to be somewhere where the fans dont constantly slag him off after every poor peformance.when he first joined he was playing well, scoring and creating but for some reason his form dipped although he was obviously not fit which couldnt of helped.since the summer he has failed to adapt to the pressing style of play but i think he will still play an important part for us.i also think his sheer prescence has helped players like lallana as it puts pressure on him to pefrom knowing that if not someone else is going to step in.

Players have houses all around the world...............

Gaston is earning circa 250k per month so can afford to invest in a few properties.

Not so sure he would be buying in noisy old Chilworth though if he thought he was leaving.

A mate of mine built a house in Chilworth and was hoping to sell it once Saints got into the EPL again. Had Steve Davis look at it but only wanted to rent - reason: already stuck with too many properties having bought in the Midlands (Villa), London (Fulham) and Glasgow (Rangers) and couldn't shift any of them. You can only sell houses in Chilworth to deaf people with more money than sense.

Saying I talk ******** and saying my opinion is not worth the light of day, you have not faced the truth he has been a letdown but merely offered weak counterpoints of why he may not be able to get back into the team (he had his chance as little as 3 weeks ago so fitness is a moot point), lets discuss the footballing merits of him concerning why I think he is poor and not worth the time and effort without stupid retorts.

Congrats on your one year anniversary here Bazza. That's quite some going 5k posts in 1 year, nearly 14 posts a day.

Pochettino was less effusive about Gastón Ramírez, though, after more reports suggesting that the Uruguayan is unhappy about his lack of playing time. "Gastón knows perfectly what I think and I know what he thinks," he said. "That's a private matter between us. He is fully obliged to fulfil his contract. That's all he has to do as a Southampton player."

That's interesting... suggests to me that Gaston hasn't fully bought in to our way of playing/MP's plans, but that's just my interpretation.

I read it more that he told the boss to play him or he was off and the boss said earn it if you want to play and you'll leave when the club decides or at the end of your contract which ever comes first.
