I detect that the ethos of the club, as we now see being firmly developed with commitment of club money and demonstrated as successful (so far), has 100% buy-in from senior players who are excited to be part of it.

This will, in my view, be a compelling reason for them not to jump ship when the so-called glamour clubs come knocking at doors of our star players in the coming transfer windows.

Another thought - by having such a good training and development set-up, we also put ourselves in a strong position when it comes to recruiting coaching staff, or even retaining retiring players who want to go on to coach. Young players want to be part of the Academy, but potentially so will coaches, new and experienced, who want to work at the best places.
