Wouldn't Inter and their fans be more be likely to want Osvaldo over Vucinic and that could be the reason Inter pulled the plug on Vucinic after events at Saints this week?

I think Inter thought that there was a vast imbalance in the respective values of Guarin and Vucinic and wanted about 6 million to be added to weight the deal.

How some fans think a quailty retort and comeback of Nolan coming here instead etc etc should think that Nolan has played better than both Ramirez and Osvaldo this season and thats with him being red carded left right and centre.

A sarcastic rebuke answer and its better than what we have, embarrassing to say the least.

You really think Nolan been good this year? (last year I´ll give you but not this year)

You wont find many Spam-fans agreeing with you at least.

If we're buying a midfielder we need one who scores goals. I've mentioned Mitroglou before, not sure how realistic that would be as he's been linked with other teams. Plus Olympiakos are still in the Champions League and they're only playing Man United in the last 16

We signed Roma's top scorer and Celtics best player, I'm sure we could pull it off if we wanted too

If we get rid of Osvaldo in this window, another striker is an absolute must. Wouldn't mind going for Yacob either for that price - Davis and JWP don't convince me in a deeper role and we've missed Wanyama's defensive solidity since he's been out. One of WBA's best performers last season.

Sky Sources understand Sunderland have made an enquiry to signValencia's Argentina midfielder Ever Banega.

Absolutely a player we should go for; would immediately improve the starting 11.

Essentially he's Steven D, but with way more skill and creativity, and scores goals.

If he goes to another prem side I will be mightily ****ed off.

He's not if you've watched him. He's been awful, and there us something going on with him.

Even if we don't get rid off him it will be impossible to pick him

I think we do. Still need GK cover/someone to push Boruc, CB to cover for injuries/push Lovren and Fonte-the-bruised, LB to hit the ground running for when Shaw leaves (inevitably), and a new striker, because Rickie is well past his best/well into his sulky period/off to West Ham, Osvaldo is a useless loon, and Rodriguez needs to be more clinical/stop fluffling one on ones. AIMHO of course

this !

Do you have a link?

Weird to be linked with him, and not so long ago Wanyama's brother (although that's slightly more understandable.)

Pretty much every other position on the pitch needs strengthening before central midfield. (Except right back.)

Having said that, at £3million it wouldn't be a bad deal, but Cork has already played very well since Wanyama's been out, and with Morgan and Wanyama first choice, Davis and JWP able to play well there and allowing for Reed's progress to the first team, I can't see why we'd need another CM.

Those that say we don't need to buy in this window are dumb trolls IMO. We're poor at CB and when an 18 year old striker is your only striking option from the bench, it rings alarm bells..

I think we are taking a big risk if we don't get a couple in. Anymore injury's say to lallana or lambert we will be in deep sh it..The only positions we are covered really well is right back and central mid......apart from that we are so weak at the moment.

10m wouldn't be a 5m loss when we only paid 12.9m I think.

Cost us nearly £15m believe it or not

Add the £1 million signing on fee and £960,000 hes already earnt in wages and the loss is closer to £7 million (based on a sale for £10m)

Stupid, expensive and unnecessary risk on a complete tool

So you prefer to believe journos instead of the club that HAVE to put the correct numbers out due to being a company on the stock market?
