GenevaSaint Posted 8 November, 2013 Share Posted 8 November, 2013 Kick off match day with a pre-game drink at the BTC rowing club. If you’re looking for a cheap beer in a friendly environment, situated just round the corner from the Saints stadium, then the BTC rowing club is the place for you! We’ve got cheap drinks, a great atmosphere, parking (council) and even bacon rolls (not midweek) for you to enjoy before every Saints game. So, come on down, we’re at Cross House Road (just under the Itchen bridge), just five minutes from the stadium. Beers on tap:- Carlsberg, Carlsberg cold, Tetley Smoothflow and Upham Punter real ale. All profits fund our rowing facilities which includes a youth section (12 - 18).

trousers Posted 8 November, 2013 Share Posted 8 November, 2013 Sounds good. Can one park in the car park for the duration of the game? And how big are your rowlocks?

whelk Posted 8 November, 2013 Share Posted 8 November, 2013 Carlsberg is without doubt the p1ssiest lager out there. Is the cold one any better I wonder? Parking sounds good but by end I have normally done 6 or so beers so possibly not. Thanks for invite though mate and hope loads take it up

GenevaSaint Posted 9 November, 2013 Author Share Posted 9 November, 2013 All pints are £2.80, also got some bottled ales along with Cobra, magners etc and Guinness surger is £3 Crucially...the queuing time is much better than the local pubs like the Chapel and the Lucius Curtis.
