Andy_Porter Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Man United are really quite good, i'm a bit worried about playing them. Tevez is superb and supposedly not even first choice. Hope Saganowski gets a bit of service, see what he can do.
Andy_Porter Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Quite a big gap in quality between United and Aalborg tbf.
Andy_Porter Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Stern John has just got one for Bristol City against Ipswich.
saint_stevo Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Watford beating Norwich. Priskin (16) both teams are in and around us. Draw would be ideal
Andy_Porter Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 both teams are in and around us. Draw would be ideal Aye, with a few red cards in there for good measure.
saint_stevo Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Aye, with a few red cards in there for good measure. Crippling injuries?
Andy_Porter Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 The ****. we're going to destroy united.
Evil Monkey Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Stern John has just got one for Bristol City against Ipswich. Oh what a shame.
saint_stevo Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Dion Dublin- Worst commentator ever? Seems to feel like he has to fill the silences.....

saint_stevo Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 You do spend a fair amount of time on TMS. I have to preach to my people over there. did Saga touch it in the second half?!
Arizona Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 I have to preach to my people over there. did Saga touch it in the second half?! Had a header in the 50th minute. HTH.
VectisSaint Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Man United are really quite good, i'm a bit worried about playing them. Don't worry we won't be playing many of the team on show tonight. It will be their reserves against our youth
gjphilsaint Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Don't worry we won't be playing many of the team on show tonight. Unless he is sold of course.
Saint Martini Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Makes sense as Aalborg have no need for him now that they are out of Europe and Rioch was sacked in October anyway. Unless he is sold of course. *cough* UEFA Cup *cough*
Gorgiesaint Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Saga's recent form is a positive for us, but how we will benefit will depend on what decision he & Aalborg take. Either: Aalborg take up the option to buy him, and that's another of the 'higher' wage earners off of the books. This could potentially mean that Lallana or Surman has a better chance of staying. (Not to mention the cash injection) or Aalborg don't take up the offer - we then get a player who is in a little bit of form & more importantly, appears to want to come back & play for us. That could give us the experiance that we need up front & the enthusiasm will help as well.
Matt SFC Posted 10 December, 2008 Posted 10 December, 2008 Get out much do ya? He dresses like Steve Jones, 'nuff said

I hope I can play." Interesting.

South City Si Posted 12 December, 2008 Posted 12 December, 2008 The plot thickens: I saw McGoldrick in Costa Coffee by Soton Central Station with 2 fellas in suits looking in deep discussion! Maybe it's him who's off to pay for Saga's return?!

Maybe it's him who's off to pay for Saga's return?! We can only hope Calderwood is stupid enough to take him back to Nottingham. That said, Notts County or Burton is more McG's level.
ottery st mary Posted 12 December, 2008 Posted 12 December, 2008 The plot thickens: I saw McGoldrick in Costa Coffee by Soton Central Station with 2 fellas in suits looking in deep discussion! Maybe it's him who's off to pay for Saga's return?! These two men are wanted, they are outlawed scouts from Nottingham. One goes by the name of Robin and the other is Big John.. Mighty Mac on his way to the Forest. I would normally call these boys Robbey and Johnney but would upset some posters. Once again Ottery, you have shown you can do it..No mention of Lowey or Wildey.
ottery st mary Posted 12 December, 2008 Posted 12 December, 2008 Sorry, forgot to mention Saga. Come back Saga, we need you.
Saints67 Posted 12 December, 2008 Posted 12 December, 2008 Mate at the United Aalborg game said he was impressed with Saga and was troubling Rio Ferdinand for the first half but was less effective against Evans in the second. I thought Saga did ok against United and should (if willing/able to play) be wiser and sharper for CCC sides. Hopefully we'll have the money to pay him and he won't be farmed out on loan or sold. However an FA Cup 3rd round televised match is a good way to get yourself in the shop window.
View From The Top Posted 12 December, 2008 Posted 12 December, 2008 We can only hope Calderwood is stupid enough to take him back to Nottingham. That said, Notts County or Burton is more McG's level. Calderwood wanted to sign him in the summer but Lowe told him not to go as he'd be 1st choice striker this season. That comes directly from DM.
hughieslastminutegoal Posted 12 December, 2008 Posted 12 December, 2008 Once again Ottery, you have shown you can do it..No mention of Lowey or Wildey. You can see the paradox here, can't you?
