KelvinsRightGlove Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 Why then, did Morgan not demand to leave and walk away when Arsenal (supposedly) came calling in August?
Wes Tender Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 The only one likely to receive a massive bid is Shaw.. some people on here are getting carried away... please remove your rose tinted glasses There are several players who would receive quite substantial bids. To 9-3's list Wanyama has probably added some value to his purchase price already and Schneidelin has been mentioned as a player that could star in a top team's midfield. It isn't a question of rose-tinted glasses; it's an acknowledgment that the price will be determined by factors like us not needing to sell and demand from multiple purchasers interested in the players bidding against each other
Window Cleaner Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 Why then, did Morgan not demand to leave and walk away when Arsenal (supposedly) came calling in August? because they didn't. Sociedad bid somewhere around 16 million euros but he didn't fancy it, neither did Nicola so it was turned down illico. Arsenal did not bid, they just made enquiries as to the asking price but as they were going to blow 50 million on Ozil and still had hopes of Suarez they couldn't muster anywhere near the Swans required, took Flamini on a freebee.
Saint J 77 Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 Looks like the club are already sending out a message to any would be suitors!
Barry Sanchez Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 I have no faith whatsoever in players staying because they say so, this is the modern game we speak of.
