Abes suit being blue has blown my mind a bit!

What's the story behind that black woman sat in front of all the whites?

And that picture of the monk is terrifying in colour.

I reckon she's asserting her right to sit in a theatre just before or after segregation was ended and is getting mocked and heckled.

Colour gives a whole new feeling to the pictures - makes the events and people much closer.

Thanks, remarkable photos. When I was young you could buy a box of special watercolours for using on black and white photographs to make them look like coloured ones.

 Jeeeeezus how old are you?

Edit - rhetorical!

Incredible how up to date they look!

Fantastic, thank you for sharing!!

Audrey looks stunning in colour, but the real eye opener for me is the bomb test - seeing how clear the water actually was and how idyllic it was, amazing.

It's strange how a modern photo looks good in sepia but how the old photos come to life when computer generated with colour.

Now that would be a great app to have.

I remember a colourised photo of me as a baby. They made me look like a baby Coco the clown! It was REALLY bad!!! LOL
