Saint-Armstrong Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 Saints will be wearing shirts with poppies on. Will then be signed after the game and auctioned off for The Poppy Appeal.
DT Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 Will the poppy go next to the red splodgy 8? Who designs this stuff? I thought it had to include the leaves, pointing to the 11th hour?
shurlock Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 lols @ bumhole Speak for yourself - looks like its been torn a proverbial new one.

There's no hard and fast rule about wearing the Poppy except 'You Wear It With Pride' and that'll do for me as an ex-Matelot.

Appy Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 will be a very tough game, they are a very decent side no doubt, if we dont put 3 past them, the usual pr1ks will start to moan Couldn't care less how we win, as long as we do.
The Cat Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 Danny Graham never scores and Hull haven't beaten us at home for over 60 years. There, that's done it.
Dalek2003 Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 Couldn't care less how we win, as long as we do. Quite
Jack Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 Would be mad to play anything other than a front 4 of Lambert, Lallana, Rodriguez and JWP, assuming they're all fully fit. They'll all be raring to go out and continue to impress. Team picks itself tomorrow IMO: Boruc Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw Schneiderlin Wanyama Lallana JWP Rodriguez Lambert Davis, Yoshida, Chambers, Cork, Davis, Ramirez, Osvaldo 1-0

I think we'll dominate from start to finish tomorrow and win comfortably. 4-0.
BlakeySFC Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 This has got banana skin written all over it.
The9 Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 Hopefully we'll get an early goal, because Hull are pretty solid. I'll go for 1-0 or 2-0.
Turkish Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 It'll be tight, their away record on paper looks poor with 4 defeats from 5, but when you consider those defeats came at Man City, Chelsea, Everton and Spurs, then it's not as bad as it looks due to them having 4 very difficult away games out of their first 5, we'd probably expect no more than a point or two from those. They don't score many only 8 but don't concede many either, 10 overall, 7 away from home so if we can keep a clean sheet we should win this and 1-0 is my prediction.
RonManager Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 We'll rip 'em to shreds. By half time they'll be on their knees, and in the 2nd half we'll turn the screw, no mercy. It'll be a cricket score.
teenagegsaint Posted 8 November, 2013 Posted 8 November, 2013 Boruc Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw Schneiderlin Wanyama Lallana JWP Jrod Lambert 2-0, both in the second half!
Georgie Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Will be very a tough game, not sure about some thinking this will be a walkover! Would love to be proved wrong but a narrow victory I think. Would start with same team as last week, hopefully with Osvaldo on the bench
Saint_Tony Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Looks like a 1-1 draw, Hull are a solid team and will be more of a test for us than Fulham and Palace were.
St Chalet Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Is Osvaldo fit? Haven't seen him in any of the training pictures so I assume not. Wouldn't be surprised if we didn't risk him before the next match on 23rd.* *awaits someone to show a picture and tell me he is in the Italy squad
St Chalet Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Italy squad announced Sunday http://www.football-italia.net/41525/germany-squad-face-italy
Sour Mash Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Haven't seen him in any of the training pictures so I assume not. Wouldn't be surprised if we didn't risk him before the next match on 23rd.* *awaits someone to show a picture and tell me he is in the Italy squad He was in some of the training footage. Think it was stated he'll have a late fitness test. I expect to see him start on the bench.

Wouldn't be surprised if we didn't risk him before the next match on 23rd.* *awaits someone to show a picture and tell me he is in the Italy squad He can clearly be seen in the video of training when Saints' England players were announced. Pictures 14, 17 and 38 in the training gallery.
Graffito Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Hull will come for a point and may get it. The crowd will have a big part to play today.
Saint_Ash Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Our English stars will bottle it, scared of picking up an injury and having to pull out. Hopefully goes the other way and play blinders to get noticed for a starting place.
ericofarabia Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Is Osvaldo fit? Plenty of the ladeez seem to think so :-)
Batman Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 I have saints in my accy (to win) my accys are appalling, so that is that i am afraid
Saint Garrett Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 COYS!! Will be very tough but think we'll escape through. 1-0 Lambert.
trousers Posted 9 November, 2013 Author Posted 9 November, 2013 Is Osvaldo fit? Yes, although he's not really my type
trousers Posted 9 November, 2013 Author Posted 9 November, 2013 Good start for the warm up act... @SouthamptonFC: #SaintsFCU18s have taken the lead against their @Arsenal counterparts inside a minute through Josh Sims. Follow @AlexUCannon for more. @SouthamptonFC: It's now 2-0 to #SaintsFCU18s! Ryan Seager has doubled the lead on a rainy day at Staplewood after only two minutes. What a start!
Glasgow_Saint Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Hull have lost 4 of the 5 away from home. Hope we get the focus right
igsey Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Team news in half an hour, although this team pretty much picks itself. Hopefully Osvaldo's on the bench, this might be the ideal game for him to come on with 20 minutes left and grab a goal.
Turkish Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 Quite a few people seem to writing off hull, they are a decent side who will be hard to break down. I think we'll win but talk of 4 and 5 is deluded.
Batman Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 I also agree with turkish Bruce is a very decent manager and has a decent squad. they never needed 10 games to get used to this league

Saint Garrett Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 I agree with Turkish - may well be a frustrating afternoon. Get an early goal and will be comfortable. COYS
Webby Posted 9 November, 2013 Posted 9 November, 2013 This has got banana skin written all over it. So did Fulham
