Good away point. Any away point in the prem is a good result.

played very well. 1 freak goal and another aided by the wind

JWP was very good

Wanyama my MoM.

wind looked horiffic

good, entertaining game

should have had a penalty

all in all. good away point

1. I'm pretty sure that Foy was the homer POS who gave the penalty against Fox at Newcastle last year for far less than that.

2. That game made it clear, not that it was in much doubt IMO, that Ramirez is talented but far too lightweight and uncommitted for the way we play. I'm amazed that MP put him on the bench for a game at Stoke and even more amazed that he brought him on.

Good point away from home, you can never moan about a point away at Stoke. Can't help but think we could have won that though, just an unlucky day - handballs, dodgy offside's and at least one penalty denied. We clearly dominated in every measurable way except the score.

Ward-Prowse my MOTM; such composed, confident and intelligent passing and frequently creates something out of not a lot. It has been a long time since we've had a better passer of the ball.

Credit to Wanyama too though, his best game so far and is getting better each week.

Difficult away game, difficult conditions, freak opening 15 seconds. After that we were reasonably composed given the typically robust Stoke approach, were much the better side as we adapted to the wind and continued to play football, and can probably feel a little disappointed not to have won. Wanyama MOM.

Definitely would have taken a point before the game. Thought we could have won the game and were it not for a one-in-a-million freak incident we would have.

Played the much better football. Looked calm and composed in most areas, but still lacking that little bit of quality needed to really unlock a defence.

As for the penalty shouts? First one would have been harsh cos the defender clearly fell backwards onto the ball and couldn't have avoided it. Second one was nailed-on though. Stoke got their second big slice of luck with that.

Aside from the freak goal we looked comfortable at the back and Boruc had very little to do. Made one great save in the second half.

Wanyama was absolutely everywhere today and is my MOTM. Every time the ball fell loose in midfield you just knew he would be there to mop up, and I don't remember him giving the ball away like he has been prone to.

Still only a point off second place after Chelsea lost. And we are over a quarter of the way through the season now.

My worry after that is teams will now have worked out how to breach our defence.

What pray for a windy day and make sure you have a keeper who can kick straight :D

What...... by getting the goalie to smash it in from his own half?

Not worried about the defense whatsoever. We are unlikely to play in conditions like that all season. Total freak goal, but the key was our response. Shows character in adversity.

Wanyama motm. We were a little sloppy in possesion and gaston gave the ball away way to cheaply again unfortunately.

Jwp started a little sloppy but then really came into it. Ref had a poor game I thought and totally bottled the 2nd handball. 1st one would have been v harsh but 2nd was stonewall.

Little disappointed we didn't test begovic more. Stoke were just horrid as usual.

Good performance, lacked the final ball though. Wanyama immense, Boruc unlucky. Gaston changed the game for us, we completely lost our attacking shape when he came on. Too slow on the ball, again. Trying the really tricky pass every time, again.

Frustrating in the end, but still 1 defeat in 10. Win at home next week and we'll still be flying.

By far the better team. Lot's of neat passing and movement.

JWP was my motm, sort of like Beckham cross Scholes. Some quality crosses and passes.

Should of had a penalty near the end and again the officials fail to give a decision in our favour.

Only negative in my view was Lambo. Didn't hold the ball up or offer anything up front. Maybe was just an off day but I can't see MP being happy with that performance from him. Just looked tired and not with it.

How to score against the second best defense in Europe? pray for FREAK WEATHER.

There are no easy games in Premier League. Chelsea lose to Newcastle. The only game to beat us this year get hammered 7-0. Many people said Stoke were even better against Man U than we were. So after going down the freak goal to them, a point is OK.

BUT what was crystal clear was that Saints much the better team. Even in those conditions, some of the quick passing play was sublime. Wanyama is incredible. It's not just the 50-50 balls that he wins, it's the 30-70 against balls. And JWP is becoming a fantastic game-changer. I don't recall a cross from him that wasn't dangerous. Really exciting to have these two coming good.

If you can't win, don't lose. Great character shown to come back from that freak goal - don't think it was Boruc's mistake btw - and as usual, we dominated possession in awful conditions.

Wanyama and JWP are improving game by game. Good to see Big Vic tidying up his passing and JWP's delivery is becomingly an increasingly important asset for us. The kid has some future.

Would have liked to seen us create a bit more in the second half and given Gaston's lack of appearances, as well as the scrappy nature of the second half, was slightly suprised to see him come on - though perhaps S. Davis' recent injury informed that decision.

Still, we are seven unbeaten now and providing we keep Huddleston quiet next week we should be looking to secure a comfortable win.

We looked rattled after the goal, but regrouped and adapted. Great goal from jrod.

Started well 2nd half and were dominating until jrod came off /(or) Gaston came on, seemed odd to change it while we were so on top. Oh well lesson learnt.

Could, shoulda and on another day woulda won. Big up waynyama and JWP today, Lovren solid again

Boruc
