I said before the season started he is one to watch for and we should have had a look at him.

 

As with many other Austrians who go to play abroad, he has a massive, massive attitude problem however. Has played sh*te for the national team since signing for Stoke.

No Pen and a shonky offside decision against us in the fading minutes, still the draw keeps the tally ticking along.

Difficult game in difficult circumstances. Happy with a point in the end, though we probably edged it overall. That said, Stoke would have felt hard done by if they came out of that with nothing. Given the conditions, it's a decent point. Three points against Hull next week now please!

Bit disappointed with that. I feel we paid for being a bit slow off the mark with getting the match thread up and running. Any chance of a late winner was scuppered when the nice nun was quickly countered with the nasty nun.

Shocking referee. Not an easy place to come and play with a young side against a physical, big, and "niggly" Stoke side!

 

Conditions didn't help, but all said and done, solid performance. And still in the hunt!
