Joint second when we play arsenal?

Looking at the next 2 games, I predict that we could face arsenal having tied them on points. Then at the point we start playing the better teams, everyone else seems to be playing each other too.

 

By the time we play these teams there could well just be goal difference separating us. Before the arsenal game I see it as:

 

Chelsea 26

Liverpool 24

Arsenal 24

SAINTS 24

Spurs 23

City 22

Everton 22

United 18

 

By this time I think we will be treated with a lot of respect and I don't see us dropping too far when we play these big teams as they all seem to play each other at the same time. Plus we can definitely get some points. Look forward to seeing the Xmas league table.

As far as I see it, our fitness would overrun them like it does every team. This gap will only have been widened after their 120+ minutes midweek and our week off to focus on this very game.

I agree I'm a little worried about this game, Stoke are notoriously difficult to beat - but with Hughes coming in and changing their philosophy, which is still in the early stages of taking hold, there isn't really a better time to play them. Play as we know we can and we could surprise them. My money is on a draw but I wouldn't bet against us winning.
