Colinjb Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 In the odd position of being in the hat tonight despite not having played our tie yet. We have: Sunderland/Saints Man City/Newcastle Spurs/Hull Chelsea Stoke West Ham Leicester Man Utd Assuming the best, I would like a little revenge on Leicester personally.....
Colinjb Posted 30 October, 2013 Author Posted 30 October, 2013 Curse you Gemmel!! Mods, do your bit....
LatvianTolix Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 Could someone tell why arent we playing today???
saint si Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 Could someone tell why arent we playing today??? North east police forces didn't want Sunderland and Newcastle both playing at home so close together... especially right after the derby on the weekend.

Dr Who? Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 Could someone tell why arent we playing today??? Teams in Europe playing this week, as Europe for them next week.

Not to fussed, but I would like to beat Man U at OT, or Spurs at the Lane and progress to the semi's!
SNSUN Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 I personally think Sunderland might put out a stronger team than us next week (in the hope of resurrecting something from their already poor season) and win, meaning being in the next draw is moot, but should our "B" side get through then I'm not too concerned who we get. It'd be nice to play at home, it gives me more chance to see it live, but otherwise not too fussed. If we have aspirations of winning the cup, then of course you hope for the likes of Leicester, or perhaps Stoke or West Ham, but with a virtually all Premier League line up, it won't be an easy cup to win this year.

That's what I'm expecting, defeat at Sunderland - think they'll feel the need to get another win more than us, and will nick it 1-0.
chocco boxo Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 Can see us getting Utd away and taking 5,000 .
