mynameisthehulk Posted 29 October, 2013 Posted 29 October, 2013 I don't get to many games these days but I am going Saturday. Kenwyne seems to be mainly starting from the bench at the moment but, what sort of reception do you think he get from us if he gets on?
Colinjb Posted 29 October, 2013 Posted 29 October, 2013 (edited) Got booed by us there last year And was so offended that he was given the Man of the Match award after scoring. Edited 29 October, 2013 by Colinjb
Saint_clark Posted 29 October, 2013 Posted 29 October, 2013 Who? The lad with 39 premier league goals. Not bad going.
aintforever Posted 29 October, 2013 Posted 29 October, 2013 He will always get a bad reception because he's a c*nt. - - - Updated - - - He will always get a bad reception because he's a c*nt.
hypochondriac Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 Probably has more reason to be booed than any other ex or current sfc player.
Monkou Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 You´d like to think the fans would be more interested in getting behind saints than booing someone else.. sadly most football fans are morons so I guess that will not be the case.

Saint_Tony Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 Hopefully he doesn't play alongside Crouch, as that will be 2 goals guaranteed for Stoke, always happens when we face ex-players

It's always good to see posts like this from people with a superiority complex telling others what they should be doing and how stupid they are for not doing what they think they should be doing, because they think they are so much better than everyone else. It certainly wouldn't be boring if we were all the same. Edited 30 October, 2013 by Turkish
angelman Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 If a player who is under contract refuses to play for their club and goes on strike so that he can force a move, other clubs should show some solidarity and turn around and withdraw their interest in signing them.

Er, have you ever heard all the Pompey songs? If we're going to provide free advertising for a League Two non-entity that we're not even playing against, I'm fairly sure that Kenwyne Jones will get some stick if he plays against us. Shame on the Saints fans for not singing about him every game, imo. He still plays in the Prem.
Leicestersaint Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 I hope he doesn't play - otherwise it's odds on that he will score against us like so many old boys do - or am I thinking about things the way they used to be?!.

pap Posted 30 October, 2013 Posted 30 October, 2013 Like Nathan Dyer? My mate who got arrested at the Brighton game nailed Dyer's game years ago. No end product, he would say. In Dyer's defence, I'd offer two observations. 1) He has improved since then, but not enough to pierce our mighty defence. 2) At least he's not Danny Dyer.

Maybe not this season, but he did last season.
