Tony F Posted 28 October, 2013 Share Posted 28 October, 2013 I am a ST holder living in Warminster (on the A36 between Salisbury and Bath). My "car share buddy" from previous seasons did not renew this year so I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who lives Wiltshire-way and might want to car share. Would also consider someone without a car, but willing to fuel-cost share (I don't really mind driving). Please PM me if so. Cheers

ulstersaint1980 Posted 30 October, 2013 Share Posted 30 October, 2013 I live in Frome and would be interested. Not a season ticket holder (I go about 8-10 times a season) but always useful to know a few people. Like you, happy to share driving
Grey Crab Posted 30 October, 2013 Share Posted 30 October, 2013 I am driving from Warminster too but I always leave early so that I can visit my mum in the home on the way. I am happy to share but it will mean a detour to Ringwood and you'll have to wait in the car for about an hour whilst I visit mum (she doesn't like strangers so you won't be able to come in). She might also appreciate some coconut ice if you fancy buying some (just as a gesture).

Deano6 Posted 30 October, 2013 Share Posted 30 October, 2013 There used to be a poster on here from round your way...Wiltshire Saint. You should track him down and see what he's up to these days. I think he still posts on Ugly Inside from time to time.
Tony F Posted 31 October, 2013 Author Share Posted 31 October, 2013 Thanks Deano - good thought but I have a mate who knew him; he lived in Amesbury but has since moved (to Southampton he thinks).

I think he still posts on Ugly Inside from time to time. I wouldn't bother. He's a sh*t. I used to car share with him and he came into the care home to visit my mum and he put his hand on her knee. The next time we visited, I told him to sit in the car and 5 minutes after I went in, he came in again and sat next to my mum and put his hand on her knee again. The next time, she asked for him specifically and over the period of a season, she came to think of him as her son. I stopped giving him lifts in the end, but when I went to visit my mum over the summer, he was sat with her, with his hand on her knee. I forbade him to visit again and when I visited my mum a few weeks later she asked about 'her son' and I had to tell her that he was dead. She was heartbroken and she has been in a state of depression ever since. All because of that filthy perverted sh*t. I'm pretty convinced that she's written in him into her will too.
