My cat's called Stripe, to be fair his markings were the only way to distinguish between him and his brother 15 years ago when we got them. His brother (Zippy and in no way Saints related) only lasted 18 months but Stripe still going strong and inside I always saw the name as Saints related although not as convincing a case now :)

When I was a nipper I called my cat "Ossie" despite the fact that she was female :)

My next cat was called "Splat". Not named after a Saints player, but I thought you'd need to know......

Two of our four dogs are 'Charlie' and 'George', though the connection wasn't intentional.

Keep them away from your garden when your using the flymo then.

I called a cat 'Tissier'. When I went to the vet my then other half tried to explain the significance. From then on the nurse always called out 'Matthew Le Tissier........'. Very embarrassing!

Remember Jim Steele calling his Alsatian "Stokesie"

I am sure a few pets have been honoured with Saints related names?

Not a pet but I got away with naming my son "Owen" most people got it all the time I lived in Soton, now We live in US it makes for awkward moments when the now 5yr old Owen tries to explain to his new school mates why his Dad called him after his Soccer clouds traditional chant.
