captainchris Posted 2 November, 2013 Share Posted 2 November, 2013 Looks good to me. No osWALDO? injured? No Guly? This is our best 11..... If we don't win today fair play to Stoke they will have beaten a very good team....

lordswoodsaints Posted 2 November, 2013 Share Posted 2 November, 2013 I reckon our back 5 will be far too strong for anything they have to offer upfront for sure, our centre midfield will be a good battle and I reckon their back line will have problems coping with our high tempo attacking, probably resorting to dirty tactics leading to a high number of fouls in and around their box......IMO they havnt yet faced a team like ours and they will lose. Saint_Tony Posted 2 November, 2013 Share Posted 2 November, 2013 Think positive Tony Trying to mate, but, albeit only for a few hours, it would simply be too good to be true to see us that high
dvaughanwilliams Posted 2 November, 2013 Share Posted 2 November, 2013 I'm a bit surprised about JWP keeping his place. I thought that Stoke's defence would be able to deal with his style of deliveries and that Steven Davis would suit playing more passes along the ground. Also thought that his experience would be a benefit against such a physical team. Obviously JWP has been rewarded for some excellent recent performances by keeping his starting place. On the other hand, I can see Stoke giving away many fouls in dangerous areas. With JWP putting the ball in, I can see our set-piece goal tally increasing by at least one.
